I was in this exact situation with my iPhone 11 but could not unlock my SIM card no matter what I did. I followed all the steps in the video and got to the point where the phone prompts you to enter and confirm a new PIN code. I did that and it came back and said "Cannot access SIM card". There was nothing I could do at that stage. I ended up having to go to the AT&T store and getting them to create a whole new SIM card for me. That worked.

that’s the only way to fix, after trying to put a sim pin it’ll lock you out and you can’t get your sim back. happens to me so now I have to go my internet provider and get a new sim
