I am Egyptian and I am proud to be African... This binary differentiation based on your skin color being white or black is the true base of racism and what colonial Europeans used to do to sort people into "civilized = white" and "savage = colored". In Egypt alone we have an array of different skin colors, yet people struggle to accept that the second largest continent contain people with more than one skin color. I believe that Africans never had this issue of discrimination before the west started categorizing people by one physical feature, because citizens of Africa share the same land, culture, history, resources, and struggles. We are the beginning of life and civilization and I truly believe if Africa was left alone, humanity as a whole would have been more advanced in every aspect of life. In the end, I really hate it when a European comes and tell me that I don't belong to the land that I was born in and love.

First of all, Egyptians to the North who created the Ancient Egyptian civilisation aren't black or white but brown and more genetically related to those in West Asia. The point is that some people claim that we are not Africans because we are not dark skinned, this is not true because being African doesn't mean you have to be black, it simply means we reside on the African continent, we have no problem in that :)
This is so stupid 😂😂 and hilarious at the same time. I am Egyptian and when you go from southern Egypt to northern parts, skin obviously, differs. But The ancient civilization was built by those Egyptians (same religion language, traditions, food...) that most of it still exist in modern day Egypt regardless of the facial/skin attributes.
It is really weird when I hear such discussions as we never had it in Egypt itself 😅.

This is not true, the Nubians existed as a civilization way after ancient Egypt.
Egyptian civilization began around 5000 bc, while Nubia as a civilization began at the early first millennium bc, and it was much influenced by ancient Egypt, not the other way around.
