@@RashmiKamath1201 Atleast, MBBS interns get more than a 75% of freshers or more than the 60% of the 2-3years experience candidates working in the IT sector after their B-Tech. From that one can clearly understand the satisfaction of being atleast a basic MBBS intern doctor for their work which is more than a service and contribution to thier own motherland unlike the IT industry in which 50% of the entire companies works/serves for the economic stability of foriegn countries including the so-caled MNCs of India like TCS, Infosys, etc. And if it's the case then think of what a specialised doctor can have! And if anyone points the stress and going out to the remote areas! It's also the same for any IT guys. But, for intern doctors who go for their remote areas is both the satisfaction, contribution, service, money and the exploration of new places or people combined!

      @@user-tr1px4sc7l 5k bro
5k is what my internship paid me.
And some of my friends from other colleges arent even getting that.
I'm sure IT people get paid much more than that even as a fresh graduate.
And you have forgotten the work hours! We have 36 hr shifts, 48 hr shifts. No sleep, sometimes not even food breaks. I'm sure IT people have the concept of "EOD"
And not a single weekend off. I'm pretty sure IT people have at least a Sunday off, if not Saturday also
Aaaand the investment specially if you studied in a private college. It's in lakhs that too with merit. Idk how much engineering merit seats cost but im guessing it's not as much as medical. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
So yeah, as much as respect and work satisfaction is there, you do need money at the end of the day for expenses and for clearing loans and 5k is nowhere enough. My rent itself is 6k!!

well I have completed my medical degree from a Central Govt Institute...i can throw some light on this topic ...in our college after MBBS,one can work as a non academic JR where his/her salary will be around 70 to 80k on an average (per month post tax, )...what I have noticed is that most of us, graduates will not comply with just the MBBS degree...most of us will sit for NEET PG,rest of us will strive for USMLE,PLAB,UPSC or even MBA
Now coming to the salary of someone who has done with NEET PG,it greatly varies from where he is doing his JR ship, whether it is from North or South India(North>South ),central or peripheral institute (Central>peripheral)...for example the average salary of JRS(JR1/2/3) in my college is around 95k pm(post tax excluding HRA as we are given a hostel)...it is Little bit more for Delhi colleges(around 1lakh 5 thousand),the highest being in VMMC
Obviously the salary will be less in states.

Or MBBS k doctor ko barely koi hire karna chahta hein to most of the time max case me no employment until tum pg complete kar rahe ho apna. Secondly, pg k time bhi utna paisa nahi milta. You only start earning the big money after completing your MS or MD usme bhi saare fields me utna achha paisa nahi milta kuch me milta hein. In Kerala situation of MBBS doctors.
Private clinic or small hospital Jobs only available when someone gets pg or someone leaves the job. salary as of now 40-50k for 8 hours usually doctors work 12 hours so salary around 60-70k.
Government not taking much as permanent doctors through psc they conduct exam regularly in 3 years and publish rank list of 1000 then appointment only for less than 100. After 3 years they will cancel previous list and conduct new exam.
Government jobs available are contract based temporary duties. For the same you need local political recommendations. Salary in government duty is 45-70k.
In corporate hospitals there are some vacancies as junior doctors in various super speciality departments. For that salary paid are 25k-50k.
Most of MBBS graduates here are preparing for neet pg that's why atleast this much is getting.
