This variant of Taekwondo is a dying art. It is very unfortunate because it is very safe actually and it can still be traced back to Shotokan Karate although not as obvious Tangsoodo which was called traditional Taekwondo. This Taekwondo is the older version of ITF where they do not use the sine wave. I assume they also still use the 20 instead of 24 Hyongs. Great matrial arts especially for those who want to practice safely but can still defend themselves in emergency. Due to its relative originality, one can connect it to Karate, Juijitsu, White Crane, Five ancestors, etc. if we want to go to the self defense part. We can also connect it to the Kukkiwon TKD if we want to enrich our artistic and competitive capability.
