But Both classes and structures in C++ support inheritance. However, there is a historical difference in default inheritance access. In a class, the default inheritance access is private, meaning that by default, the members of the base class are not directly accessible in the derived class. In a structure, the default inheritance access is public, allowing the members of the base structure to be directly accessible in the derived structure.
