    This is so valuable I'm not even kidding this got me out of low level 2 and into mid level 3 after a week of just trying to read the map and only focusing on that, it may not seem like much but I now understand how people can get to high levels with like deagle only. I really have been focusing on the wrong things like you said, aim, resolution and so on. While that is still sort of important you can absolutely carry games with ease by getting yourself in the best situation possible.

    Thank you for this video. I have played league of legends for 5k+ hours, and it is a game where you have to play while looking at the map 100% of the time. Your explanation on when to look at the minimap, actually be focused when holding an angle and unpeek to look at map. After 4 games of implimenting this in my game today, i already notice a difference. Looking at the map way too much is definitely one of the biggest things holding me back.

    Great video! Even when MGE I had aim but my gamesense always let me down. Now I put scoreboard on one of my mouse buttons just to be able to check map easier. Going to work on this.
    What are your preferred radar settings?

      Thanks for the feedback dude, glad to hear you liked it!
      Using your mouse buttons might be a bit overkill, you don't want to be extending your radar in critical situations anyways (remember to unpeek angles first!), so TAB should be plenty enough!
      I recommend centered and rotating radar, also increase the HUD size a little bit, e.g. cl_hud_radar_scale 1.2 or 1.3. You can also zoom out a little bit, cl_radar_scale 0.5 or 0.4 might work for you. I used to be an IGL so my radar is super zoomed out, you don't need it that far away!

    Amazing content, thank you. Indeed it is a really underrated skill. Could you make a video or give tips about getting peeked ? I never seem to be able to react and get insta killed. Mostly happens in retakes. Just being anxious that someone will ferrari peek me any moment.

    Very good video. Sad, that it is of little use to me right now. I reached GN4 two years ago and stopped playing, because my old pc and devices were a big barrier. I returned some time later with a much better setup, however the game, like on purpose, puts me with a bad team against smurfs almost every time. It drops my elo and doesn't let me to get out of silver hell. Once I finally get to GN1 or GN2 I am so fed up I drop the game for a month and my rank resets. I used to watch a lot of videos similar to this one, focusing on my gamesense and tried to overthink the enemy. It... almost works. The problem with low ranks is that sometimes people afk or dont run with the knife at the start of the round. Very often this sad issue results in a broken timing for a flank - when all of the enemy team has passed and you can get 2-3 kills, but that one guy was eating and slowly walks with his galil out to shoot me in the back when I least expect him. Not to mention having enemies/teammates several ranks higher than you, but performing significantly worse. One good tip I can give to people who solo queue for MM - use "Looking for play" tab. Not to recruit people, but by becoming the player, who looks for teammates. However, do not choose "Looking for competitive", choose "Looking for wingman". For some reason competitive tab only shows players of MG rank or higher. Wingman tab, however, shows a lot of lower ranked people and people from competitive lobbies invite you in anyway.

    Hey Mahi, I like your content especially the aggro plays for ct side to carry soloq in pugs, it has greatly improved my ct side which was my stronger side to begin with so now i need my t-side to catch up, I have been more aggressive than usual trying to get 1v1 fights as i feel like following your advice from the other vids would carry over but i still seem to struggle more on t sides, I know this may not be much to go on but any advice for this and would you consider making similar style videos for the T side? Also as a sidenote even sometimes when i do these aggressive plays on ct side, on nuke for example pushing outside, my team will have a lot of info and stack but still lose before i can finish the fast flank, when this happens should I keep working the same area of the map and if we ultimately lose count it as an unlucky game or try the aggressive plays elsewhere on the map even if my team refuse to fill the spot i leave? thanks again

      @mahiCS2  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hey man, T side videos coming sometime in the future! For now my best advice is to avoid moving with your team too much and focus on controlling key areas of the map before entrying the sites.
      On CT side I recommend switching up where you aggress as much as possible to avoid being predictable.
