Excellent interview.
🙏🙏🌹🙏🙏

Masha Allah : Sanhita ji represents her gharana very well.
Amazing
Beautifully made entire interview is very warmly, spiritually and musically rich content. The host (Mr. Bose) appears simple, calm, and a deep thinker which is complimenting interviewing Vidushi Sanhita Nandi. Many thanks to Sarabakal TV channel for this post. 💐🙏🏼
Par Excellence. Your intimacy with the ragaas is beyond words. It is such a deep moving experience to listen to you Sanhita. Thanks for this precious sharing.!
The gradual unfolding of the interview with extremely well articulated thoughts and reflections by Guru maa on our Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet is a true treasure for all the connoisseurs. Shat shat pranaam. 🙏
What an elaborate an engaging discussion. A Leisurely interview describing your musical Journey. Host Shri Debasis Bose Saheb is such a n evolved individual. We surely need thinking musicians like you. Also your recital of Vidushi Shobha Gurtu's Ghazal was fabulous. Thanks a lot for bringing this interview to my notice.
A thoughtful, reflective interview that touches on everything from the moods evoked from different ragas to human nature and the role of art. Interspersed with beautiful mini renditions of several ragas. I especially like 37:12 where Sanhita ji says "I believe an artist, an author, a scientist, a mathematician - their work is for the whole world...". Very true! I think dedicating one's life to one of these pursuits -- a person can be simultaneously alone and yet more intimately connected to humanity on such a path than with anything else.
And yes we do need more recordings! Your work is for the ages Sanhita ji. We should show our eternal gratitude by documenting as much as possible 🙏
So aptly described-Music is the sum total of everything!! Excellent interview with an amazing artist!! 😊Congratulations !!
Traying to describe the beauty of what you convey while singing, remains as great a challenge as the one you undertake while singing. It is so delicate, so complex and subtle that only an inner reading, bordering on the intimate, can help us perceive all of its beauty. And to help us once again, we must do as you spontaneously do when you begin to sing, go within ourselves and let all the mysterious interconnections take place and reveal to us the true meaning of what we are reading or listening to.
I couldn't hold back my tears when you sang this touching Bengali song... It moves me so deeply for so many reasons:
The beauty of the musical line, the Bengali language, the memory it brings me of everything I received while I lived there, while confronting myself in this so rich country, the country of the Bauls singers, of the rice fields, of the ponds where the Red Lotuses reign, a vast country where we find these so beautiful Sentalis villages, and Shantiniketan where at the time I lived there, only we moved on foot, or bike or by rickshaw or ox cart... An era unfortunately long gone, but which offered me all the extraordinary values transmitted to me by the people I met there. Direct disciples of Gurudev Ranindranath Tagore, for the most part, or direct disciples of Ustad Allaudhin Khan like Sushil Bhaja... and of course this song touched me due to the beauty of your voice, of your interpretation...
Thank you so much for allowing me and all the listeners to hear you talk about yourself and your loved ones, and for once again offering us such beautiful songs. May God bless you and all your loved ones.
A nice interview and wonderful rendition too my loving Sister 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow … congratulations… felt proud
As Sanhitaji says, takes several janams to get this kind of depth.
You are such a rare gift and sensitive artist/ musician, whose dedication and devotion can be seen through your music, conversations, eyes. Everything about you is about music. Absolutely wonderful interview and great job by the whole team. Interviewer was awesome, there was aesthetics and amazing chemistry between you both . God bless you 💐♥️🙏♥️

excellent interview! ❤ Music lead us to spirituality or moksha.... in the sense it is very true❤❤❤❤❤❤
I identified it is मोगरा फुलला, फुले वेचिताती बहरू कळियाशी आला. This is first written in Marathi by Sant Dnyaneshwar of Devachi-Alandi.
Sanhitajis interview is a must watch on many accounts. It outlines the journey of a sincere, dedicated musician committed to her principles of music and Kirana school music. Her committment is life long and ever increasing. Distance from the centre stage of her art "India", lack of recognition that is due to her and the storm of populism that sells music the most, nothing of it has affected her journey of musical penance in absolute solitude.
It is noteworthy that, this total committment does not only spring out of her inclination and taste for Kirana but also a crystal clear understanding of Kirana aesthetics, an indepth study of the masters of the school and also her artistic vision of how she will add her own individual value to it.
Only a practicing musician knows how it is both hard as well as rewarding to get up everyday and motivate herself to worship music as if nothing else exists in life.
In many ways Sanhitaji's life and musical journey is a guiding light to all students of music.
Kudos to Mr Bose for conducting the interview in a way, that the artist gets the real focus and brings out the essence of her personality. Such knowledgeable interviewers are hard to find.
