I Just Imagine The Build Up Being GOD Sitting Back And Watching Egyptians Throw Israeli Babies Into The Nile. Then HE Sends Moses, Who Pharaoh Rejects, And Orders Whips And Harsher Slavery…But Then, GOD. Every Angry Shout Of Jake-GOD Striking Egypt With Plagues, Or Simply Moses Stretching Out His Arms With His Staff, The Sea Parts, And Then There’s Like This Invisible, Bright Form Behind Him. It’s A Form Without An Observable Face Due To The Radiance [And It’s CHRIST Pre-Incarnate Form]. And As Moses Closes His Arms, So Does The Form Behind Him Only A Few Can See….And The Water Slaughters Egyptians…THE LORD GOD Was By Moses’ Side The Whole Way.
This Song Has A Lot Of Pain/Destruction, And Remarkably, Hope In It. I Read Somewhere It’s From Jeremiah. I Also Get This Vibe Of Noah’s Day, And How THE LORD GOD Grieved HE Made Man…Wrath In The Form Of The Flood.
