7 dove calls of the Eastern Cape

Listen to 7 different dove calls from the Eastern Cape; Tambourine Dove, Red-eyed Dove, Ring-necked Dove, Lemon Dove, Laughing Dove, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove and Namaqua Dove. When doves call, they puff up their throat and call with a closed beak.

The laughing dove is a senegal pigeon

Probably the same dove, as I see their Latin name is Spilopelia senegalensis. They occur throughout Africa and and into the middle east. Here in Southern Africa we call them Laughing Doves because of their call that sounds like laughing.
