One version of this song that i loved was Jennifer Hudson's version.....but Jessica sure outdid herself in this song.....she has a good trainer. The rough and smooth texture needed for such a difficult song was delivered so well!

Jessica Sanchez is unbelievably amazing and extraordinary. She puts herself in the song and makes the audiences forget where they were and maybe forget their thoughts. Phillip Phillips is the worst American Idol winner. He has a basic music style and sounds like a lounge singer in a café and a headliner aboard cruise ship.

Contrary to ECZKID, Jessica Sanchez IS the best singer on American Idol. She does not need autotune to sing like a professional. She could sing professional without autotune even at the age of 11. Kelly Clarkson is the third best, and she uses autotune. Joshua Ledet is the second best, and like Jessica, he does not need autotune. Jennifer Hudson is the fourth best, and Carrie Underwood is the fifth best. Chris Daughtry is the sixth best on Idol.

the only legitimate contestant in the top three... she is the only one who can sing of the three....
Jessica's version is good but it doesn't capture me. It sounds really clean and smooth. Like fake, yknow? The texture in her voice towards the middle and ending sounds like she's trying too hard to get that out, instead of just letting it flow. To me this just sounds too polished for me to even bother comparing to any Jennifer Holiday or Jennifer Hudson performance because they just have a believability factor that Jessica doesn't to me. Fantastic vocals though.
Jessica Sanchez should have won instead of Phillip Phillips hands down. We must get that message out to the Americans. She is the best singer in American Idol history. She is better than any American Idol winner, especially the last five winners. Phillip Phillips is a cheap ripoff of Dave Matthews. I am fed up with White guys with guitars winning American Idol year after year. I hope that trend ends next year.

Actually the best is kelly clarkson, there's more to being a singer than singing good. Let's wait and see what her music is like, she does great covers but whts her identity as a singer? Remains to be seen.
