Day 1 of carving a design every day for 22 days 🧡
I sketched this design last night, after a good hard cry over where ve found myself recently on my art journey: Unable to make ends meet, with zero financial safety or predictability, searching for my creative voice, spreading myself too thin, feeling like I’m failing and trying to stay hopeful.

Linocut printmaking was what started all of this for me, so I’m gathering up the pieces of myself that I threw around this studio and the internet and wherever else and getting back to my solid foundation.

Because I do love it, and it has done so much for my life and for a lot of other people. I’m just feeling restless for whatever comes next. So maybe in the next 22 days of carving, I’ll figure out what that is. Or maybe not. But thank you for watching and for being here, regardless.
