my dad was not any different after he divorced my mom he got custody of me and i ended up in the system in and out of group homes from the age of 5 i later went off on my father very badly about his actions and i still do when i talk to him

My husband meet me at my lowest point, I was 19yrs old, I had a 3 month old baby and he decided to take on the roll of a father at just 21yrs old. Not alot of young man can do that even though his family was hesitant they accepted me and my daughter, we have been together for almost 13 yrs now, we got married 7 yrs ago but have not been able to have more kids, he says " She is my daughter " her father is still around so we haven't done any adoption paperwork but honestly it's just a paper, she knows that he is her Father.

JJ is so strong and even though he’s super shy you can tell he has a huge heart, also S/O to Beau for being an amazing father to JJ. I went through the same thing when I was a child, my biological dad left my mom, my bother and I when I was just 9 months old. My dad (step dad) raised me and he is my father even though legally I’m not his daughter because we never went through the process for him to adopt me, I know in my heart that he is my dad. Anyways I’m super happy for you guys! JJ is officially a Romero!!!!

My bio mom didn’t show up to court to fight over me, my dad got custody and sent me to Colombia where his Aunt helped him RAISE me bc he was in his early 20s living with a bunch of men. She asked my dad to adopt me but that meant he had to give up his rights and he refused. SHE IS MY MOM! This story hit home, similar stories. Im glad you posted this 💜💜💜💜 y’all aren’t alone, I have a 14 year old son, who like JJ, isn’t my husbands biological son. But at the age of 2, we met and he became the father my son needed. And weird twist, we found out a year later that my husbands dad wasn’t his biological father either. Not only was he living in my sons shoes, but also his dads, as a parent 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜😭 God works in mysterious ways!
