So wonderful - feel powerless to describe really, how much it hits the heart and soul. Saw this in Melbourne back in 2000, and have just had the privilege of experiencing the Broadway cast bringing it back to Melbourne again with my 9 year old twins. Such joy! As we saw their last show in Australia, we somehow ended up out in the bright, sunlit streets - holding one of the smaller (yet stupidly big) blue balloons. Well. We walked it through laneways, arcades, somehow got it on to a tram (was a bit of a squeeze), hired a maxi-taxi to get down to Southern Cross Station for our country train - then 1.5 hours, back at home in Central Victoria, on placing it in the back of the car it just went.... "pouffffffff".... so much love for this show - best of my life x

I saw this in 1995 in Edinburgh and again in 2005 in London and it remains the best thing, of any genre, I've ever seen in my life
