US military aid to Ukraine has likely already been sitting in European NATO countries just waiting for the President's signature for release to Ukraine. The benefit to the US is that the military gives up current and older weapons/weapon systems, while it gets to restock with the most modern technological weapons available today. Additionally, the US military gets to see what works best in countering offensive Russian, Iranian, etc. weapons before any direct confrontation. All in all, this is a win-win for Israel, Ukraine, and the US. JUST SAYING...

Currently that assistance has been limited to logistics, training and planning to my knowledge. Yes that could change at some point and result in involvement justified on similar grounds to Kosovo. But I don't think the UN or NATO yet believe that is necessary. And I'm dubious if a vote by NATO members would reach a consensus here, but just my guess. There is also a chance that a coalition independent of NATO will choose to become more directly involved in the conflict, but I'm doubtful as it would essentially invalidate the Article 5 protections of NATO if they choose to do so.

I live in Goa and there's a significant number of tourists in my state and I came up with this strategy to collect funds for the people of Ukraine with my American friend. She pretends to be a Russian and wears a shirt with the "I ❤ INDIA" logo and alternately, I wear a shirt with the "I ❤ RUSSIA" logo. Both of us look like a INDIA-RUSSIA couple and we go from door to door to collect funds. People were happy to give donations to us because they thought that they were helping Russia. So far, we have collected a sum of 419,730$ and 80% of it is have been donated to Ukraine. The rest of 20% are used for our utilities. Not only this, we also keep a DONATION BOX to 29 temples and 17 other mosques. We open the donation boxes on every alternate day and it makes up more than 45% of our funds.

Currently that assistance has been limited to logistics, training and planning to my knowledge. Yes that could change at some point and result in involvement justified on similar grounds to Kosovo. But I don't think the UN or NATO yet believe that is necessary. And I'm dubious if a vote by NATO members would reach a consensus here, but just my guess.
There is also a chance that a coalition independent of NATO will choose to become more directly involved in the conflict, but I'm doubtful as it would essentially invalidate the Article 5 protections of NATO if they choose to do so.
