Rejection is very tough, but rejection specifically from family members is down right impossible to get through. But Glory be to God that his precious presence through his Holy Spirit NEVER rejects us. On the contrary it can only be us that rejects him by lack of perseverance and lack of faith. To get right down to the main point, it is only through sin that we reject him. Ask God for Wisdom and it will be given but only to those who are steadfast in his word and have decided to follow him wholeheartedly. Make a choice to follow him before it's too late. ❤
Almost all of my adulthood problems rooted in the rejection and trauma I went through during my childhood and adolescent years.
Still struggling, but I believe I will get to full recovery. Jesus ❤ me.
Wow, this meant for me as i have slipped back into some lustful sin of the mind or thoughts. You spelled it out that sin is what repels the Holy Spirit. Im ashame and guilty, feel unloyal and a liar to the Lord.

I love listening to these messages by Derek Prince! Spot on about the depth of wounding that guilt, shame and rejection do to a person, and Jesus experienced them to bring us out of their destructive clutches! The Holy Spirit brought to my attention just yesterday, that my "mother's milk" (what I was raised on by my mother) were these exact things. It is truly devastating to grow up with daily or near daily doses of emotional cruelty from the person who is most expected to be nurturing and caring. God is truly a mighty deliverer, and He eventually told me it was time to get off the game board that several family members kept trying to basically checkmate me on. He led me out of my own, personal Egypt, and brought me into a broad place, prospering me in every sense of the word. There is a time to remove yourself from emotional/spiritual abuse so you can flourish in the Lord. You can pray for and love the unlovely from a distance if that is what God calls you to.

I've been through brokeness in life,no details to share,,God' grace has restored my life 🙏❤️
My natural family utilizes these types of demonic methods. I choose to walk in love toward all others, as Jesus commanded. This left me open prey for their rejection, shaming, critical ways and comments. I asked Holy Spirit for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in how to respond in love. It is difficult to honor ones parent when this same parent is lobbing shame and ridicule ones way. When the shaming started, the Holy Spirit had me to interrupt the deluge with loudly saying, ‘Stop! Stop! Stop!!! Ok? That’s enough! Just Stop! And she shut up, and backed off, and said sheepishly, ‘oh ...’ She didn’t apologize, but it was a start. At least it shut her down. Progress ... :)
Heavenly father I pray in the name of Jesus for this precious sister.I ask Lord that you would give her strength courage and the grace needed to concentrate her eyes only on you. I ask that you would put a hedge of protection around her. Fill her with the Holy Spirit and with your love. Let her see through your eyes Jesus. Let her have pity for those who are against her. Knowing that even if they are not lost their being used by the enemy. And if they are lost give her the words through the holy spirit that will draw them to you.help her to be a good representative of Jesus in your holy name I pray.Amen

This dear man is a miraculous contradiction..... he's an intellectual academic and philosopher, yet toward God he's as simple as a child. If it's in the bible he just believes it and just does it, in the most straightforward and literal way.

Our feeling away from God is ironically what brings us closer to God. Feeling guilty it’s what makes us Christian. My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. I am sure that feeling guilt is really an important part of being a real Christian.

The difference between Christians and others is that we can be weak, sick and fail, but celebrate our weakness as sickliness knowing that god encourages it. Rejection is similar to hatred when we dont accept others as they would be accepted. No more dislike and hates if we want to be truly a child of GOD.

Thank you for your words of encouragement to overcome rejection which I have often faced by non-Christians since attending church. On the other hand, I suppose that without guilt, we could stray from Jesus, and it is the feeling of guilt and fear that part of what binds us. I thought about a lot. Even if we feel worse with our fearful nature, it is better to have it and know that we are true Christians. It brings us down, but it brings us together. Together, and down. Only then we can be saved.
