Great collection, thanks for sharing. I'm a Saint Laurent girl myself and definitely prefer it to Louis Vuitton. Their price point is more reasonable and their overall aesthetic more classic than LV. An underrated brand, IMO. I'm eyeing their Uptown bag in black mock croc, comes with its own YSL logo clutch. Stunning bag.

I’ve definitely switched to YSL! I had been internet obsessed with the College bag, but when I saw it in person I wasn’t wowed. The I turned around and saw the Envelope bag in black with black hardware, and I was in love. I ended up getting the small size, which is comparable to he Chanel mini rectangular. I love it so much.
I am with you YSL is my favorite brand right now. I have a medium loulou in the black with black hardware and a large calf shoulder bag with the silver hardware and one wallet. They are beautiful and such good quality.

The saint laurent velvets are so pretty! I have the wallet on chain in pretty much the same color as yours but in silver hardware and I love it so much. Super durable!
I definitely like YSL also. I have been purchasing a few classics from LV here and there that I previously missed out on (like the pochette metis) but LV's newer collections have not necessarily been my taste. I like having another option/fashion house that has a classy, sophisticated and even sometimes edgy feel to it without being over the top. I can't wait to add more YSL to my collection.

I have watched the Chanel collection you did earlier in the year several times. That one was especially informative and well done. A Valentino one would be very helpful as I am hoping to be able to buy a pair of sandals next year. Keep up the good work, your videos are definitely among the best on CZcams.

I bought my first 2 YSL pieces this year (the small Kate tassel bag and the card holder) and I just think they’re really pretty! The logo in particular has really made its mark as a classy yet simple accent to any piece. Time will tell if I fall more in love with the brand like you have. Great video!

I just bought my first YSL piece in Paris (the cardholder in black/gold) and I am very much in love with their styles. I fell in love with the Loulou toy...also in black and gold.. this is just my favourite combination! Maybe I will purchase it one day! 🥰

Helena Benko i have the ysl tote and I absolutely love it, but I think Amy didn’t liked it very much because of the color, people always says the brown one is kinda difficult, I have in light pink, I had no problems with it what so ever

I recently bought the chevron Loulou in dark grey and love it a lot. Now I want the black quilted loulou that you have Amie.

I’m surprised the cloud bag(is it a large loulou?) is durable, the leather looks so soft and delicate, I normally hate pillow bags but love a good soft feel, I’m going to go in store and try out that leather maybe it will change my mind about pillows😂

When you go to return bags which didn't work out for you, do you ever feel awkward or feel that SA don't want to serve you etc?
Oooh I've done this several times and honestly, how they feel is the last of my worries because at the end of the day ... it's my money and my happiness that's paramount. I hope no one ever feels bad/ awks for returning (of course ff. return policies) items that don't work out. Things just don't work out sometimes- relationships, jobs, and yes ... even items we've purchased. Also, I understand how people love to stay loyal to an SA but really ... let's be real: does it matter? I've bought bags from different SA's and saw no issues with sales/ returns/ exchanges. They're just normal transactions (unless there are perk expectations involved, want to build genuine friendship/ affinity, and/ or people just want to stay loyal for their future purchases). I think it speaks volumes for the brand if you deal with various SAs and still receive classy service no matter who assists you that moment ... and if not? That's easy: ask for a different SA or just leave and go to another shop. You have buying power.
Saint LAURENT are my favourite brand for bags. They top Chanel for me because I wear them way more often than my Chanel ones. They have more of an everyday casual vibe that suits my lifestyle. 🥰
OMG YES! Glad you said that. I find Chanel more of a small bag category and an occasional use bag. However, I'm forcing Chanel to be one of my bitch bags so I got one that is not a classic or a boy but instead the small business affinity in place of the Celine nano (some class and a bit of edge) for days that don't require a daily. I just hate making a shrine out of my bags. Function and form all the way.
I have 5 Saint Laurent bags and only two of them that don't have a quality issue with the leather. But that doesn't stop me from getting the Mini Lou camera bag. Let's see how the quality on this one. I hope I will be as lucky as you are with your Saint Laurent bags.

Can I ask, do you prefer the YSL or Chanel card case?
IMHO the quality of YSL card holders is on par if not better than Chanel. In recent years, I've been finding that the Chanel Caviar is getting thinner and been looking a bit lacklustre which is just a real shame. So for half the price with pretty much the same quality I prefer the YSL card holders (in grained pebbled leather). Also there is one less card slot on the Chanel so the YSL actually fit more as well.

I have YSL red clutch( looks pretty much the same as your nude pink one) from a few years ago, a perfect red tone and gorgeous leather, but after about 3 months of occasional use, leather started to peel off the bag then large strips came off, just really bad, but still the most beautiful red shade I have ever seen, and for the short amount time I used it, I got compliments every time. I have continued to buy YSL bags since then because I love their style too much, and never had the same problem with other bags, so I guess I was unlucky with that one

The camera bag on the SL site does not have the gold chain hardware, but leather.

i think mini lou is so beautiful and fits every essentionals!! so much better than marmont super mini. its scratch free. .. the only part that i dont like is that the chail is too gold maybe, my style isnt very feminine lol more like casual so .. not sure if i should keep it..anyway, i loveeee the puffer one too!!!!!
