At one point in time I had no idea what this guy was talking about and after much study, I understand everything he's talking but you must implement and practice this way of being.. all I can say is I'm always feeling more peace nowadays .. peace!

I think that finally made sense.
What he's saying is internal not external, winning the game doesn't mean dropping your body, think he's trying to just get you to drop all thoughts and ideas about what is and isn't about reality and just be here now
So your thought’s implications are that we don’t need to return to the light by becoming it again? So is the plateau or enlightenment or way we win to arrive thus far at realizing we are the creator of the game? We’re in school to learn how to make new Universes becausecwe are currently co-creators but eventually get to create new ones.
Shunyamurti is a very wise man. I love him.

My question is...what about desires of a deeper, more purposeful, nature? Like, for example, a gifted artist who has a burning desire to share their art with the rest of the world. So, they practice and refine their craft, finally having the opportunity to share their art with the public, and in doing that, enriching many people’s lives. How is that a negative thing? Imagine if that same artist said, “well, if I want to win the game, I should steer away from all desires, so I’ll just sit in a field somewhere and simply exist.” The artist would be robbing the world of all the wonderful art they are capable of creating. If Lennon and McCartney didn’t act on their burning desire to write and play music, where would modern music be today?
Misconception in thinking this way. Actually Paul McCartney has already stated that in the very early days that he and Lennon did not know that they could "Own" songs/music, they just thought that you write them and thats it, they are then let loose/free. So they were indeed egoless.
I understand it as, Create the Art and let the Power assist you, to see what is to happen with it. One is allowed to play with the form so to speak. Alternatively, deciding to sit in a field is sometimes called "dog in the manger" attitude and is still an Ego action.
ALL of ones creative output will be taken care of automatically. Dont sweat the small stuff, create and BE.
Its not an easy route but no-one said it was easy. In fact once you know you know, then it gets tougher. An old saying, "Art for Arts sake-Money for Gods sake" is one way the Ego tricks, to convince, but like I said,.... once you know, you know.
Its an eternal conflict, thats why Buddha advised taking the "Middle Way"

I wonder why the ego is seen as so much mavelous and so much enemy-full in all religions and enlightment practices and theories in the world...
The ego is not the enemy, it is just a personal defense structure to a world of chaos, suffering and pain.
If we are going to blame someone for what we've been through, it's not the defensive mechanism, it's the circumstances we face ourselves, including the lack of knowledge of how things work to do the right things that prevents our suffering and pain...
Maybe, the enemy is not even ego...
But ignorance, or imperfection...

I see it almost like a movie, that is projected from Source, that we experience in this way as we are in the densest layer of existence, so it SEEMS the most real. Whereas it is in a respect, the least. The most real is the Source we came from, that we are part of, and that, in reality, never left..as we are also there watching the movie.

It’s an absolute grind in the truest sense of the world. I grew up ‘knowing of the ego’ and have evolved into a person who now realises I’m in a constant micro tussle to either govern it, or at the very least ensure it doesn’t govern me. I think the key for us is to practice gratitude that we’ve evolved enough to be cognisant of just what’s at stake and what’s required of us to get there.

And there is desire in life itself. LIFE LONGS FOR ITSELF (Kalil Gibran). God/Christ, is LIFE ETERNAL. Out of the Great Void (Bible), came manifestation. If you're not Conscious, then the Void is what is. But still, to be in the World and not be of it, is the Souls destination. You can still enjoy what life has to offer, but your not a prisoner to "things." The "things" will be added, but not by egoic effort. And to know God Aright! And to dwell in the secret place most high.
When jesus mentioned to live in the world but not be of it I believe he was covertly explaining after his catharsis of ego that he figured out he was playing a game n that it was a simulation. He wasnt of it bc after his spiritual evolution he was allowed a permission slip to leave the systemic virtual reality matrix program thus becoming a biblical neo w christ or God consciousness manifested lightcodes w access to the throne room or parts of the brain that remain dormant until activation occurs after the Logos decides youve earned an upgrade package like in a vid game namaste
