Thank you for this, Gert. It's a special hymn, partly because of the story behind it, so it always reminds me, whatever is going on in this world, that it is well with my soul because we have a wonderful Saviour. I love it that you play music that points us towards Him.

I think the first time I heard this hymn was on a Gospel show where it was sang by Joey and Rory. Fell in love with the melody right away.

Oh my Stanislaw, I have to agree with Johan Söderberg first sentence. Gert is an excellent organist and I "know" he would be able to tell if an organ was out of tune. This is a great recording or else he would not have used this organ to record his CD on.
