Just watched your cover of ‘Times are hard for Dreamers’ and loved it. You looked like you were at a low point and I do all is well with you now. You sound and look absolutely fabulous and definitely some I would sit down in a cafe with and put the world to rights…😊
Yes! Such a beautiful song. The Musical is sadly a bit underrated.
Luckily, while it is still hugely underrated, it is doing better here in the UK as they re-did a bit
@@chloeperdrix8867 Yup, it seems more successful there. There was a german production two years ago which changed and improved the musical too. I watched it and it's one of my favourite musicals now!
@@phantomias7230 my dad was lucky enough to win us tickets to the show in London after they did a competition on social media and I LOVED the show.
Idk if in Germany it was the same, but I loved that the ensemble were the ones playing the instruments
@@chloeperdrix8867 Cool! He was very lucky to win the tickets :) The ensemble was not playing the instruments but the musicians sat on stage with the actors in the german production.

As I said, the ensemble doubled over as the orchestra. Actually everyone in the cast (even the “main” characters) all played instruments. Amelie is the only character who doesn’t play an instrument throughout the show but at some point she played the piano and cello.
Something that amazed me the most it that most of the cast played multiple instruments thought the show while singing and doing a bit of choreography. If you search up “Amelie west end” there is I think a pro shot of times are hard for dreamers and also a bootleg recording of the song and they both show off the set and ensemble well I think
