  • There has been a recent controversy in skateboarding over a trans woman winning a women's skateboarding competition. The second-place finisher Taylor Silverman was upset that she didn't win and started the controversy. In this video, I go over how Taylor Silverman is a bad sport.

Male to female trans women competing against women are going to win pretty much everything and crush women's sports, and then your female to male trans men are... going to be at the bottom of the barrel in every men's sport because they can't even close to compete... this is both obvious... and a huge problem... which trans people are willing to completely ignore for the sake of "inclusion". Another imaginary word that people need to let go of.

We've also got these "self hating whites" who think that they're born, pure evil and refuse to have children too. So if no one's having kids on the left side of the political spectrum then in about thirty or so years there just isn't going to be a Democratic Left. Then you don't watch female skaters, many are on the same level as many of the male pros. Skateboarding is a gender neutral sport from the begining seeing men and women as equals and they competed against each other all the time, and women skaters out skated men skaters in competitions. It wasn't till recently that they even split it up based off gender and a lot of old time skaters think they fucked it up by doing that because they did, because the prize money is smaller and it doesn't do anything other than serve sexism and still enable horrible people to say women are less than men like yourself. @@pappythe1st I had to make the terminology up , womanphobic instead of misogynistic, because misogynistic is more commonly used to describe men who have abusive and toxic behaviour against female victims, and misandrist is other way around when we find women who have abusive and toxic behaviour against males , but in this certain scenario hence transgender people do not identify among the male category then using the terminology misogyny was not really the right word to say, so I had to invent a new "phobic" term, that is very well used these days and trendy among certain people who like playing the victim sometimes.
I am not here with the intention of offending you, you are a person, who may have their feelings, emotions, and sensitivity, and I don't like when people attacks you on purpose trying to hurt your feelings. without being argumentative you need to bear in mind that despite you wish and like to identify in a woman, unfortunately nature has created you as a male, and so being such your body has got many more physical advantages that female bodies don't have.
it's all about physicality not about your own sexual orientation and gender identity, I am sorry but you shall still compete in male competitions , not in females competitions, if you really stand up for justice and equality in sports and society.

Trans females in this case do have a biological advantage as men's have narrower hips and and a higher center of gravity, this aids biological males as lots of tricks are based on these factors.

    • @PebblesOTB
      @PebblesOTB Před 2 lety +9

Males have more fast twitch muscle fibers, main source is prenatal testosterone. That's an advantage for speed and muscle movement. Wider hips means wider quadricep angle which means more prone to injuries from landing so some tricks are not possible due to risk of injury. Lowe center of gravity creates clearance issues. Males with a higher center of gravity can pull knees higher so if both a male and a female have a 12" vertical.the male has a higher clearance as he can pull his knees higher due to a higher center of gravity. Support trans in sports all you want but don't lie to people or yourself.

some women have have narrower hips, and a higher center of gravity. should they be disqualified? to me it comes down to hormones and how long they've been with them. trans woman often fall within the range of traits as cis women. it's rare to find a man with skeletal traits that are beyond the range of a biological woman. this is why in forensics they cant definitively identify the sex of a skeleton without corroborating evidence. if a trans woman never went through male puberty, they will be 100% be within the range of cis woman. i dont see any of you adding an exception for that... for that reason i tend to think you are indeed transphobic, and/or uneducated on the issue.
also, look around you at the skatepark, every man is a different shape, it's never a level playing field when there's a natural variation. the athletes that set the most long standing records basicly always had some kind of advantage over other athletes. Shaq o'neal for example was massive, people his size are more rare than trans people. Audi Crooks is top ranked woman player in Iowa, she's also one of the largest women in the sport, most trans women are smaller and weaker than her yet she can play and they can not? explain that to me.

A transphobe in a very racist part of michigan I know that because I am from michigan and I have seen them discriminating against black people on that side of the state to small children saying racist things in Kalamazoo at a mcdonalds when I was a kid visiting there to a kid that was black and dressed in a cubscout uniform there for the same reason I was there and then getting harrassed by other people there. I spoke out against the racists at the age of 12 and saw it again later that weekend over and over again. That side of the state is very racist, very sexist, and skateboarding comps most that I know of didn't care about what gender people were they just allowed skaters to come in and compete and women commonly won against men. Most the comps were gender neutral, and most of the female pros I know skated against men pros and didn't care if they won or lost and yes they did win and yes they did lose too.
On a side note the Olympics has been very transphobic in skateboarding, I find it dumb that they divided by gender to begin with. Leo Baker dropped out the Olympics. I suspect it is because the transphobia.

I'm very much about inclusivity and also about respresenting trans people in skateboarding, by turning more trans people pro or supporting them through whatever. But when it comes to competition there is just clearly something problematic in my opinion. There is a reason why women and mens competition is separated, and it's in the interest of women to keep that seperation there as long as they don't perform at the same skill level as men. I do think trans women competing in womens sport have an unfair advantage and while it not being their intention undermines biological womens chance at winning. I don't have a solution as I completely understand trans women not wanting to compete in mens competition, but just putting your blinders on is gonna hurt biological women in the long run.

@TP B3333 You nailed it. Including transpeople in their chosen gender category is a form of respect and acknowledgment. I don't know what it's like to not identify as my born, given sex and the gender that corresponds to it. I can only imagine what it's like to feel out of sorts in one's body. I fully support that expression. Let people be as they choose to be. That's beautiful.
With that being said, I can't deny the reality that is happening when transwomen enter women's sports. The advantage is there. It's biological, and we can't ignore that. The solutions people come up with are controversial and berated politically by both sides.
This woman Taylor can't even have a discussion about her feelings or concerns to anyone who is progressive and left leaning, especially most of the media. Cancel culture of ideas, thoughts, and actions that are not deemed liberal is happening. That's why you can not see debates on CNN, CNBC, NBC, etc, with anyone who is right leaning, independent, or questions trans ideology. Liberals used to be "Question everything, debate, they to understand, unite and f*ck the system." Now they are."Accept only open-minded people within our framework of ideas, cancel the rest, and trust that the government will enforce and support us." Crazy how things have changed.
The argument for this is that we must snuff out racism, bigotry, transphobia by any means possible. I wonder, though, if it has been taken too far in that it is now attacking biological women who have gone through centuries of oppression? If title 9 is changed to reflect inclusivity of transwomen at the expense of biological women's thoughts and votes, is that democratic; is that fair; and is that consciousable?
Deep thoughts and questions that go beyond the scope of the discussion, I realize.
As a skateboarder in the past, I noticed an advantage of men almost always. I'm not an expert, but nearly all of my skateboarder friends agree.
