Since Sam Raimi was in charge of Doctor Strange 2, that explains why the deaths in that film were pretty brutal compared to past MCU films. Given Raimi’s experience in horror it explains plenty!

Black Bolt's death is 100% the most brutal MCU death I've ever seen. Look at that thumbnail his Brain is crushed and destroyed and blood is in his eyes and falling down his nose plus his headgearis tilted down a bit. Cross killing that dude by turning him to goo then using a napkin to throw away the goo is definitely a close 2nd

What's even more terrifying about Professor X's death at Wanda's hands is that if you slow it down, you realize he doesn't get his neck snapped: she actually rips the top of his head off of his jaw - but it goes by so quickly that you wouldn't even notice it!

The Illuminatis were DEFINITELY worse than Vision. I almost passed out from shock at it. Especially from the unexpectedness of it. Vision wasn’t surprising and, while still brutal in it’s own right, was definitely less so than the death of Black Bolt

Reed's death was pretty horrifying too. I mean being spaghettified from the feet and hands up was bad enough but then to have your head pop like a zit to finish it all off was just gruesome

Yeah, everyone is hang on Black Bolt. But his was panic and instant dead. Reed's was slow. It must've been horrifying seen yourself been dismantled before dying, unable to do anything. All that brain power worthless.
Also Wandas question to him right before she attacks was verbal brutality! "is their Mother still alive? Reed says yes "good there will be someone left to raise them" brutal.

Ok the deaths of the Illumanti definitely is the most brutal, especially Black Bolt's, I actually felt sick to my stomach after seeing that scene and any time I see the scene now it still makes me uncomfortable, and that's what makes it so damn good. Also I think Hawkeye killing the Crime Boss should of been in the list.
Black Bolt popping his own head was the only thing in that movie that legit got to me. I was happy to see Anson Mount reprise the role from Inhumans, and then that.

Doctor Strange 2 was by far the best and scariest Marvel movie I’ve ever seen! I was hardly expecting Scarlet Witch to be the main villain.
Me either. I thought she was a cool and likable. But nope...even though she helped saved the world and universe she became very unlikable in this film. Though she at least had a relatable motivation on doing the terrible things.
It wasn't I feel bored like thor 2 , captain marvel , morbius , eternals and black widow , doctor strange 2 wasn't exiting specifically the climax is really dull

Seeing Wanda suffering by killing her love is one thing, the second is for Vision saying I only feel you and I love you before he dies. But when Thanos turn back time and ripped the Mind stone from Vision making both him and Wanda suffer is brutal.

What about that moment from Spider-Man: Homecoming when Vulture disintegrates the first Shocker. The darkly ironic part of that death was that Adrian didn't even intend on killing Shocker, he just picked up the wrong gun!

Have you seen Marvel comic deaths? In the Silver Surfer's Infinity war timeline, he saw the aftermath of the battle. How Thanos wiped out all the heroes including Galactus in a titanic battle. Thor & Spiderman impaled standing up are the only recognizable ones, aside from Galactus' battered and holed body floating in space.

Black Bolts death was the most agitating to me because he has undergone extensive training to never utter a sound, even in his sleep. So I highly doubt he would have started yelling out in panic because his mouth was sealed.
I mean, he lost a mouth. That’s a pretty big deal. What do you even do for the rest of your life without a mouth?

They do with doctor strange being the exception. If the back of black bolts heads blows off and mush comes out now that woulda been extreme. All these other deaths are cool but don’t do much when you consider they show hardly anything when killing these characters. I’d say the most vicious would be Loki, and Blackbolt. When Wanda removed Blackbolt’s mouth, literally when he screamed his entire brain exploded along with the insides of his head because it couldn’t escape. That was entirely dark. It was also severely tragic among Loki’s death, I never expected to see someone choked to death, especially when it comes to being a favorite character as well
Maybe it's not "death" technically, but Darren Cross shrinking into irrelevance is crazy. That shit is more brutal than typical gore and it happened on a more kid-friendly movie.
He better not be brought back, especially since Cross isn't a well written character either.

People are taking about Black Bolt's death but Professor X is almost as brutal as Black Bolt. It's a blink it and you'll miss it moment but if you look closely or slow down the footage of the mind sequence, you'll see that Scarlet Witch didn't snap his neck but instead snapped his head into 2.

Most of these deaths are not that brutal compared to how Sharon Carter died in 'What If?' I find that definitely more gruesome and brutal than Hulk looking like he is being pumped with helium like a Looney Toon Character and exploding like he was made of a can of green spray paint.

If you watch Blackbolt's death at .25 speed, it's incredible how much detail they put into that! Eyes bulge out of his head and turn red from blood before sinking back in. I'd never have caught that detail without slowing it down

@@dietotaku I'm surprised that his head didn't even explode but maybe they did it like that so it wouldn't be too graphic even though we saw the decapitation of Thanos and the hulk exploding also how was everybody in the scene so chill they should have been screaming in horror for what they just saw

In The Winter Soldier, on the carrier when Bucky kicked the guy into the jet engine was also pretty brutal. There was a similar scene in the first avenger too. There wasn't any blood but it was still pretty bad to see.
