The villain known as the Firefly has been seen in several incarnations. Fashioning a costume, he used his manipulation of light to go on a crime spree. Eventually, Lynns was captured when the Dynamic Duo used his own lighting tricks on him.

I loved the Arkhamverse firefly. He was more crazy and dangerous than ever.

Lynns is actually pretty mainstream. He's ranked second or third best Batman: Arkham Origins villain, I believe.

I've actually sent several requests to WatchMojo on this dude. He's a new guy, first appearing in Batman #666 from 2007. He's one of the most twisted Batman villains ever, mutilates people to make them "perfect". He has his own side mission in Arkham Knight where even Batman is surprised by how fucked up he is.

The Batman version will always be my favorite.
There's also the Batman Arkham Knight origin,in which firefly is an ex-pilot who got burned in an accident,and got severly brained damaged that transform him in a pyromaniac
I feel like that's the best origin and should have stuck with that plus the outfit in The Batman. I always thought it was cool and fit with the whole Firefly idea.

Was Firefly having 90% burns on his body an Arkham games thing...or was it in the comics? I like the idea because it suits the character and sorta shows his life has consequences
It was in the comics that happened during no man’s land in 1999, apparently he targeted a chemical plant under the orders of a Man named nicholas scratch, an enemy of Azrael.

Master Assassin Fernando well they can not just give them backstory without connection to the mainstory because you wouldn't feel as close to the character development then. So, they have to mix it up.
