I support the freedom to be able to have an exotic pet. I also support the freedom to be financially responsible for the damage and liability, just like when you have more conventional pets. It's all the same to me, and most importantly in the eyes of current law.

It might be morally reprehensible to some people, but it's perfectly LEGAL in about 20 states. That bothers the hell out some people.
