Lorrie, please Freeland is more loyal to her Ukrainian roots, the WEF and Trudy than to Canada. To say that her policies and delivery suck but she’s a loyal soldier just does not jive. We want a finance minister that understands Canadians and the needs of this country!

There's no by-election. He has already been replaced with Steve Mckinnon who is houseleader filling in for Karina Gould who is returning from maternity leave. Seamus is staying on till federal election, just not holding any position anymore. So him using family as excuse doesn't totally add up.
