    I hope that all of my former and current Wetlands Ecology students noticed the fine examples of mottling and oxidized rhizospheres in that sliced core!

    Is what makes me sick to my stomach metaphorically- Floridians in the 21st century seriously think we "allow freshwater to be wasted" by not selfishly using up freshwater before it naturally enters the ocean... Such anthropogenic thought is now the norm, and will likely get worse. Enjoy it while it lasts :)
