I love these fast knaps. I bet a lot of stone tools were made on the fly for survival and not laboured over for perfection.

    Cheers to you good sir.
I love watching folks that have honed their skills over the years to the point of true mastercraft display their talents unabashedly. Its not about pride or attention whoring (all though the web is certainly RIFE with that as well). This is pure artisanship. People displaying the fruits of their labor to show others what they too can acheive if they can sew dedication into their passion. This is what humans do. It's how we evolved. We work and work to create something and perfect that thing, then we pass that knowledge along to the world.
I have absolutely ZERO interest in watching commentators putting their critiques on things they can't do themselves. They aren't contributing to the craft, they arent helping to build anything other than their own "brand". We need more videos like this. To me, this is the whole reason for having internet.
Keep em coming man. Keep on doing what ur doing.

@GulfCoastKnapping I have to agree, keep at it. The old saying practice makes perfect probably originated regarding flint knapping. I'm not familiar with that type of quartzite, we have some various grades of this here in Kentucky I've found in the creeks. Some is really nice, no cracks or flaws and some is simply un-knappable. Good work there on that piece.

Lol it so funny to me how other people try to tell others how to use someone else’s material. I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t just leave a positive praise about your work. I’m like you I paid for the material so I will do what I please with MY flakes. I’m sure you don’t waste them. I just dislike negative comments.
