This is a review of simple solar grid tie inverter system. A DIY project that has been useful for 3 years now. 1000 watts solar grid tie system using Trina Solar 4X275 watts per panel.

is it ok to connect your AC output on AC outlet instead on the AC main breaker?
@@shoomaklovesemmy Yes Sir, as long as the wall outlet has the correct cable sizing Sir.
These inverters overheat if you max the output. Use maximum 40% of the capacity and it may last longer. I have two 1400w gridtie inverters but i connect only 400 watts (max) of solar to each gridtie. it doesn't get hot and the fan doesn't kick in. During one of my test, i noticed the fan kicks in when it is producing around 500 watts on the AC side which is maybe 625 watts on the DC side.

Thank You. Very simple and easy to understand. I assume you went with 1100 watts of panels as they are never 100% of rating and so still safe for your 1000Watt inveter. Very nice system!

Actually Sir, yung ganitong klase na inverter is less than 2 year lang talaga ang lifespan niya.
@@RollyPetztumatagal Yan Yung sakin more than 3 years na 1.4kw version. 1kw+ output daily.. need mo Lang icool Yung loob butasan Yun cover lagyan Ng malakas na inlet at exhaust fan.. palitan narin Yung malalaking capacitor malamang mababa na value kung walang cooling fan Yun dahilan kung bakit nasisira Yan......

Hi Sir, if there is no utility provider in the area, I suggest to setup and off-grid system with battery. This could not be used. thanks.
Hello, i have off grid solar system with lifepo4 batteries that work 24/7. my question is, can i add grid tie inverter 1000w? they reason i want to add it, is to safe battery capacity to have more power at night. so when my off grid solar system is on, and if i add on the plug the grid tie inverter it will work? or i will do damage to my off grid inverter ? thank you very much

Hi Ely, for me I wouldn't recommend using this type of inverters as they died after a year and harvest using this one is not good. I suggest to use a much better inverter for your setup.

Yung sa akin Sir hindi na. yung pv kasi naka screw sa metal trusses then yung metatl trusses naka baon/welded sa poste ng bahay which is naka baon din sa lupa.

Unfortunately this inverters will burn about 3 or 4 months maybe 6 months! Over heating problem!
To avoid danage you must modified cooling fanction!This inverters start cooling by fans over +60-70 celsius!
That inverters need install thermostat switch N.O. 40 celius stick on transformer+ dc-dc stepdown board 40V connected to fans,fans will start cooling from 40 celsius and you will avoid the overheating damage.I am technitian.
Good day Sir Jim, I was already expecting that as it happened to my previous inverter. But with this experiment, hopefully this will last longer. For this setup it was able to maintain the temperature at 40-41 degrees. Here's the link Sir and thanks for your comment and feedback.

how do you add batteries to this system?
Good day sir. For this type of setup you can't add batteries, but if making it to a hybrid setup yes you can but you have to add a charge controller parallel to this and then add the batteries. a somewhat complicated one but can be done.
So, this has a zero export feature?
Good day Sir, what do you mean by zero export? As of now it does not export power to the grid since the load inside the house is quite high.

Kung ang imong setup is mas dako ma produce na power kay sa imong load sa balay, kinahanalan ka ug limitter pero kung dili ra ka sobra ang ma produce sa imong solar, dili ra needed ang limitter. Ang limitter man gud gi tuyo ma siya aron dili ka mag back feed sa veco where in mo accumulate gihapon ang imong reading sa meter kay uni directional na ang mga meter karon sa Veco.
@@anethemia7857 actually sa grid tie setup Sir pwede ra any load sa house kay mo act lang siya as suplemental power for the house. Ang power na ma produce sa imo grid tie setup mao na ang primary magamit sa imong load, ang kulanga na power mao na ang ihatag or i provide sa utility provider.

So far OK pa naman. Tumaas lang konti yung production nya noon nagpalit ako ng Inverter.
