As a native Miami girl I've considered myself a classic/ preppy since I was like 10 or 12. Love Vinyard vines and Lilly, jcrew. Banana Republic. But never heard of the other brands you shared. Can't wait to explore. Where have I been under a rock? Lol. You always make me happy in that pink!

I really like Tuckernuck but I didn't know of STS or KJP. I tend to go slightly more boho and I love Anthro, Johnny Was, Cleobella along with Joie and Vince. I love how vibrant your wardrobe is Nancy. As a midwesterner I tend to go very earth toned, neutral but I enjoy seeing a pop of color here and there.
I have several Lily Pulitzer items-love the fit, fabric, patterns and colors-lots to choose from! I have a red and white striped seersucker blouse from Vineyards and Vines from a couple of years ago-love, love it. Your other brands are new to me and the pieces you showed were terrific.
I lived in Southern CA for 40 years-Pasadena area and in Dana Point the last 10 years-now retired in southern Florida on the Gulf side.

Oh I'm in love!! I found Lily P about 10 years ago and couldn't afford to outfit myself in a wardrobe so I made clothing that looks preppy like her clothing!! I have a few pieces and, of course, would love more!! I've also fallen in love with LP and vineyard Vines! I need to check out the others! Love this video!

We live in Perth West Australian & I have looked at Lily P as the colours & to be able to set up a coordinated wardrobe intrigues me. The cost of items in Australian $$ is expensive but they look beautiful quality 😍
I have quite a lot of Vinyard Vines and a good bit of Lilly Pulitzer. Just went to the local store that Has Lilly early this week and picked up a top that was on sale. Got home and it matches a pair of pants I got on Lilly’s on line sale!

Love that blouse! Have you looked into the South Carolina preppy style/brands where bow ties are the preferred men’s tie style?
My favorite skirt lengths are: just covering the knee, or a few inches above. Most of the “midis” are very long on my short frame, so I feel better in block heels (up to 2.5 “ high) with them, rather than flats.
I really like the look of all of these brands, but I find that, for me at age 60, the skirts and shorter dresses are just TOO short. I wish they offered more of their clothing in lengths 2-3 inches longer.

Awesome video, I live in Australia and Lilly Pulitzer doesn’t have stores here but I can shop online (always a bit risky with sizing). Can you do a video on how you identified your colour palette? Did you have colour analysis done? I think identifying your colours is really important in building a capsule wardrobe and I admire the colours you have chosen for yourself.

I haven't heard of any of them. Watching Kelly Prepster u-tuber she mentioned Vineyard Vines. I have heard of Sag Harbour, although I'm not sure if that's preppy. I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada so perhaps we don't carry those brands here.
I think June gloom is behind us up here in Marin County, it was 102F here yesterday. We are hoping for a marine layer or at least a reversal of the hot, dry offshore winds.
