- Hi Beautiful! Today I try to follow a highlighter hair color tutorial and it was HARD. It definitely didn't come out how i desired that's for sure.

@@petsandthingsilike I’ve dyed my hair with sharpies and other markers and it turned out vibrant and beautiful. I left it in overnight. The problem was that he didn’t leave it in long enough. But if he let it sit overnight it would have been pretty
Yea even when I use actual direct dyes I leave them on with a cap until my hair is almost dry. So if she's using straight conditioner with her concoctions then he needs to process for hours, like I wouldn't give a time frame, but I'd leave it in until the hair Is almost dry.

@@Kieffer.reefer not for neon colors. Usually they even recommend 24 hours wear so it really stains your hair.
@@Lailavvv 24 hours? Which hairdresser have you gone to that leaves any color on for 24 hours? With the level of blonde on the mannequin even a professional neon dye, like say Pravana Vivids Neons, would only need to be left on for 20-30, 45 at most. What usually requires you to sit long is the lightening process since you need a true level 9 or 10 to achieve a bright neon color. I’d say 9-10 hours for a full dark to neon look. Still not 24 hours of leaving a single color processing. Even at my lightest, I have never left any color processing for longer than an hour.

Pink isn’t the darkest color. The molecule size of red is the largest on the color spectrum so it’s easier for red based pigments to deposit. People can easily lie on the internet for views and say they used highlighters when they really didn’t
