It was killing me watching you drive that pipe. In Florida, we use water to jet the pipe in. Much easier to do because of the sand. You can use a pressure washer with a clean out tip and it will go in like butter. There are several CZcams videos that show the process. You did give me an idea on my next well. We have found that if you keep your driving cap tight when driving it won't get ruined threads; Pound fewer pounds and check and tighten the cap between pounds and you won't ruin the threads on the pipe or the driver cap. It takes longer but keeps the parts working like they should work without wrecking them. also it gives the pounder a little rest.

You wouldn't have bent your pipe or wrecked the red top smasher piece as you did by pounding at an angle. Trust me when I say, I've done this more than a few times easily with great success.

You were doing good with the 4 inch pipe, but you needed to run your casing as you drilled....a cable tool type drill and bailer is best for going inside of your casing and a clamp on your casing and add some weights to it like concrete blocks will ease the casing down as you drill with the cable tools...also use a hack saw on the 4 inch pipe to make slots for your filter and use a polyester filter sock over that, those holes you drilled were way to big, your casing was going to clog with sands in no time

You have to retighten the fittings every 50 hits. We use these wells (use to, condemned now) for years around the lower Great Lakes. It’s basically Lake water, we’ll filtered through sand. Keep tightening those fitting, if you don’t you get what you got.
