That horse is known as "barn sour". He isn't taken out enough, and will only go so far before refusing to go further. Sometimes it's an anxiety thing. Sometimes it's sheer stubbornness. Had a horse like that. Riding was dangerous because he'd try to dump me. Took a lot of re-training to get him over that.

When I was a kid, we had a lot of horses. One day our horse, Shiloh, charged me. Just angry. In my Adrenaline rush, I remember I planted my feet, and just braced up. We pushed eachother for about 5 minutes, I skidded a little, but in the end I WON THAT DAMN CONTEST. AND HE NEVER TRIED THAT SHIT AGAIN. Probably cause we got his balls chopped off.

Um I open doors for basically every girl and sometimes guys within my proximity. Well, at least I did till my wife had twins, now people tend to open the door for me, but it’s not an exclusive thing. It’s called being polite.
