Options selling is considered a very complex topic, however, with rule based trading, we can get a new perspective to options derivatives trading and investing. To begin this video, we will start with an introduction to Mr. Jain's life as a trader and investor, and the lessons he has learnt from the stock market.
With the events of Mr. Jain's trading and investing journey, we will see how he moved on from being a stock exchange broker to becoming an expert trader who combines both rule based trading and options trading.
Following this, in our technical discussion, Mr. Jain will share with us one of his trading systems, which he has made after back-testing and experience. After discussing why his system works for all retail traders with a prop desk mindset, we will discuss the basics one must remember before they step into options and futures trading.
We will then discuss the basics of options writing and various option writing strategies, which include long and short straddle, calendar spread, etc. We will next discuss the hypothesis of this system, followed by a presentation of how the system works.

I did back test for Dec and Jan... it worked great and returned 24k for 2months for 1 lot. I avoided trade on Thursdays due to low premium. Started real trade since last one week and gained 58points so far. Patience and conviction is the key here in market. Hats off to you Amith ji and Vivek ji for your wonderful guidance and support. Backtested it from Jan 1 till date for 1 lot... Ended up with loss of 1600... Market was in uptrend... Short straddle is not a good strategy to be used in trending market... It works in perfectly in sideways market
I too did back test for Dec and Jan... it worked great and returned 24k for 2months for 1 lot. Please check once again your back testing method. I avoid trade on Thursdays due to low premium. @22.28 there is a confusion. As per my understanding-suppose Nifty is trading @ 14123, ATM CALL premium is 120 and ATM PUT premium is 180, Stradle premium is 300. Then we devide it by 3 to get 100. Upper range works out to 14123+100 = 14223 and lower range works out to 14123 - 100 = 14023. Am I right?

Upper range Nifty spot +( combined premium/3) = 14123 + 100
Lower range......
What about market in 19000 rit now. Where premium is still same . So if we divide by 3 add it to Index Price then range will be very small. It can hit very often

Hello sir.watched this video 4 times whole video. Excellent strategy to save retailers. Only one issue i am seeing with the execution. One will have to sit in front of screen with 3 min chart whole day.specially on Thursday. Every time we have to calculate 20% of low manually.
So can you help us to simplify this by any mean or algo.
