I second that. I’ve talked with a game warden in the unit I’ll be hunting this year already. However, I’d like to speak with a biologist as well. I’m not having much luck finding information on how or who to contact in Colorado at the moment. Can you help? I’ll be hunting 3rd rifle season OTC.

That's my go-to unit for Mule deer. Most guys looking for elk usually bring home disappointment. Hope you were able to find a nice bull!

Cpw or the equivalent should have pdfs disclosing trail usage and seasonal closures. If not call the local game office
