- There has been a second night of protests over the man kicked and stamped on by a police officer at Manchester Airport.
Videos online appeared to show a handful of demonstrators with their faces covered, throwing eggs at Rochdale police station on Thursday night.
The family of the man are particularly shocked by what happened because some of their family members are police officers, newly elected Rochdale Labour MP Paul Waugh said after speaking to them.
The footage, filmed at Manchester Airport’s terminal two on Tuesday, appeared to show an officer kick and stamp on the head of a man who was lying face down on the floor, with a woman kneeling beside him.
The video also appeared to show the officer strike a second man.
Ian Collins grills Akhmed Yakoob, lawyer of the Manchester Airport stamping victim, on what preceded the viral video that showed the incident.
"The police didn't just turn up and suddenly jump on someone's head, there must have been an incident!"

The super intendants looked at the video footage and suspended the police officer, if they had evidence against the young lads then we all know that officer wouldn't have got suspended within afew hours of the incident and they wouldn't have gave bail to the lads after just having them in the cells for 3/4 hours

A professional lawyer wouldn’t go on social media and speak about an incident his client is involved in. This is about compensation. If his client was acting as a normal member of the public at Manchester Airport he wouldn’t have been noticed by the police.
Anyone can be called a Lawyer. He's their advocate. Instead of picking silly little faults, deal with the prima facie evidence. The footage shows a head being kicked and then stamped on. Well, the full video is worse as after he kicked that boy on the ground he turned to a 15-year-old 15 ft away who was filming it and bundled him to the ground in a headlock, just for catching it on the mobile phone, whatever your opinion, we have courts to hand out punishment and that is not the job of the police. It could easily have been a rouse to get the Police to attend, and make a grab for their weapons. The security guard at the Arianna Grande concert said at the inquest that he saw a Muslim with the backpack but didn't want to challenge him in case he was accused of rascim. I think the red mist came down, but they should have compiled with the police instructions. Then the sons got violent and broke the policewoman's nose, and attacked other officers. This would have never happened if the police had exerted their authority in other instances, like the riots.
