You nailed it! That really looks great. I hadn't noticed the dog leg in the A pillar until you pointed it out. The door gap helps hide it very well. Maybe add a front spoiler over the snow plow? Mount it as low as possible and subtle. I'm not sure that would go with the early 60s look? Speed holes would be a great fit to if you stay with the current gas tank/grill you have now. Any houser well done!
That's a great chop job. This is something I want to explore and have been looking for videos that show the different ways of doing it. I like that you didn't have to cut the roof. That's something I'm trying to stay away from. Great looking build so far! I know how you feel about doing videos that show while you're doing the work, I can't figure it out either.
Very nice work you are doing, especially the top chop. Since you are running an updated suspension that was done more in the 70's, the FORD 427 SOHC or a Coyote will fill up the engine bay nicely. The moon tank is a little weird looking IMOHO and might necessitate moving the radiator back. I agree that the Ford grille opening is strange. Do a little more research and I think you might come up with something that you like even better. I'm looking forward to the next video. 👍
AWESOME! That looks so slick! The sectioning looks great and I dig the look of the moon tank in the grille. I've been mulling over moving the wheel wells forward on my cab, but I've been reluctant since I'm not sure where to begin!
That is a nice chop. Nice and subtle. I am not a fan of chop tops. But when they are done lightly and not too much. They can look like the vehicle was born like that. Nice job on sll of your mods. Welcome aboard and looking forward to your progress.😁👍
The roof chop you performed has made this truck more proportionally appealing. That coupled with your fender work you now have a very cool & eye appealing custom. As far as the snowplow, have you considered some type of nerf bar setup & then possibly drill the speed holes you were speaking of? You definitely have a winning design. Keep on modeling.
Love it that you show all the tips and explain. Not sure on what you're looking for as to filling the engine bay? I don't know what year you have to look at? Possibly consider a pro stock 1/24th scale Boss 429? Out of Bob Gliddens Thunderbird? I've bought that kit just for the engine alone. About the biggest I've found to fill an engine bay this motor is Impressive.
Great job, I don't usually like leaned posts but you've done it just at the right height and looks absolutely amazing! Really goes with all the other nice work...love the section job too. I've got the back of that roof to attend to as well next, it's amazing how much rake it has that you don't really notice stock. Great work!

Amazing work. Thanks for sharing
Solid, well thought out kustomizing going on here. Love the direction you are heading. Nice job on the chop.
A gentleman's chop, looking good. And cool dog impression. Roof roof roof !
Looking good 👍
Looking good. I like the direction you are taking this. Looking forward to the reveal.
THAT truck is so cool .
I think proportional is an excellent description of the new look! 👍
Like your subtle chop, moon tank looks really nice too, 👍👍
Thanks for the tips. I like how you went about it! 😎👍

Great idea with the chop.
Man that does look awesome chopped!!
Looks cool. I look forward to the sequel.
Nice job so far brother

Thanks man!

Thanks for the tip. I am also chopping mine down and need some help. You gave me some great advise. Awesome job.
Glad I could help!
You've got it looking good, the mild chop came out nice, subtle but you know something is changed, great job!
Thanks 👍
Nice! I'm still working on mine...slowly but surely!

It sounds daunting but it’s pretty easy to fix the wheel wheels.
Give in to peer-pressure LOL that headlight and fuel tank looks tough and no bumper 👍 (MODEL CAR)(MAN CAVE) 👊😎👍
Looks great

@@HayAuto are you on Facebook?
@@TheLukaCeeChannel No, but I occasionally get on through my wife’s account if there’s something I need on there.
Looks awesome! I think speed holes to go with the moon tank look if you go that direction. Regardless, you have made a 53 look really rad.
Nice proportions, most examples of this style I've seen at Goodguys have smoothed all the trim so loosing detail there would not be abnormal.
New subscriber here, awesome chop job man.........

Great suggestion on the nerf bars. I’ll explore that!
Dang I'm going to have to try chopping up a kit. I can't film working either. I like to watch old TV while I build. Don't sweat it bud.
Looks good, cant wait untilbyou splash some color.

I would have been against the chop, but the way you just a little bit out, it looks great! Going to be a nice truck I'm sure

I was on team chop. It looks good 👍.
You were right. 😀

Agreed!
Did you think about the engine from the monogram 56 Thunderbird . Its 1/24 scale
and its a 312.
Now that’s a good idea… hmmm.
