Irish Wolfhound puppies or why my job is a riot some days

- The Bonos Irish Wolfhound puppies at 10 weeks of age. All are about 30 pounds!
There are 4 girls and 2 boys.
Dad is "Tip" Ch Dun Myrica Speaker of Eagle and
Mom is "Nancy" Ch ArMaitiu Nainsi of Eagle.
Best dogs in the world. So cute. Loyal and giant. I wish they live

They are fantastic dogs, housebreaking a 100 lb puppy, our first one was 5 months old when we got him, means big messes during the training period.
I was saying I wish they had longer life spans.
Ohh, I had an IW Myrtle too, lost her at age 8 in September...and my hounds all came running over to see where the puppies were.

im from ireland,i have 2 irish wolf hound and when the female gave birth it was a litter of 13!
When taking IW puppy to the vet, bring along a carton large enough to hold the pup while on the scale. At some point they are too big to lift, that's when you bring a large, rubber-backed carpet scrap along. The vet has to use a washable mat on the scale BUT...it slips & slides causing the pup distress. Owning IW's for forty years forces you to learn a few things along the way.
Damn. I wish there was a breed of dog that looked exactly like this at full adulthood. These little guys are awesome!

I LOVE my wolfhounds but GOD! they're uncoordinated. The one we have now couldn't turn until he was two. He'd have to stop and move his body in line with his new course and then start running again. He was afraid of stairs too.

My dog heard the puppies whimpering and her head perked up.
i saw a documentary that said they are rare in Ireland. That when people see them on the stret, they stop because they are not seen a lot. Only about 500 IW in ireland. However, this documentary was made in 1992 .

Dr Tracy, My wife Holly and I have been looking for a I.W.H puppy for 9 yrs for the house and property.We live in the country on the edge of town...kijiji ads want $$$$ thousands$$$$.The puppy we are looking for has to be good with kids from 5yrs to preteen..We are not looking for Attack dog..Please help if you can
