She [ the singer ] dedicated this song to our ancient queen called Liv Yee or Sorma. She was the ruler of Funan and the first king of the mainland (1st century). She was also the first female leader of Cambodia. She was the queen of the first Kaundin dynasty.

Thank you for explaining, he's covered alot about the lore of the song. Though I thought he missed some things of the song. The song at the start contains alot of small segments and they're all different stories and of our culture over a large period of time ( around 5,000 years+ ago) they show a people that waged war against Cambodia to steal ideas, technology and land. This event lasted generations of Cambodia's history. 1: The axe in the MV is referred to the old tale "The Origin of Lightning". The giant was known as Reamesor and the angel was known as Moni Mekhala. It is a rain dance that explores the Cambodian myth of thunder, lightning, and rain associated with Hindu and Buddhist mythology. Most of the time, this dance depicts the fight between Reamesor and Moni Mekhala where Reamesor (Ramasura/ Parashurama) or Ream Eyso attempts to seize the magical crystal ball from Moni Mekhala and this fighting creates a storm.
2. The dragon with 7 heads:
The legend, tales handed down that talk about native Khmer on the ground Suvarnabhumi people Khmer most feel they have a thread from the Neak daughter king nāga and men as men, named Thaong who live on the territory kokathlok until create a country called the Cambodian or country today. We considered all Khmer people with their real families are descendants of the dragon. 4. The girl fighting in the battlefield known as Bokator
Bokator is an ancient battlefield martial art used by ancient Khmer military groups. It is one of the oldest existing fighting systems originating from Cambodia. Oral tradition indicates that bokator (or an early form thereof) was the close quarter combat system used by the ancient Cambodian armies before the founding of Angkor. A common misconception is that bokator refers to all Khmer/Cambodian martial arts, while in reality it only represents one particular style.
There are a lot more and this is a part of Khmer culture and civilization which our ancestors left for us.

In the start is the Khmer story telling, like the traditional way, we called Lakhon Niyeay "ល្ខោននិយាយ" The story is from RiemKee "រឿងរាមកេរ្តិ៍". Normally Lakhon Niyeay is telling with the show of Lakhon Sbek Thom and Toch "ល្ខោនស្បែកតូច និង ល្ខោនស្បែកធំ"។
Then they also show about the Khmer kingdom War since many centuries ago. And design the custom that about the ហនុមាន the Monkey war from the ReamKee "រាមកេរ្តិ៍" Story.
In a part of this music show about the weapon of Cambodia Angel from the Khmer dragon king of Zodiac year.

This song is about women empowerment where they included both mythology and real powerful woman in Cambodia history. Such as the part with the serpent that is called Naga, In Cambodia or Khmer mythology this country was built by the Naga King and was ruled by the Naga princess and it’s connected to the real queen in Cambodia history name Soma who was the first ruler of Cambodia in 1st century. And the royal ballet dance of a female god Moni mekala battle against Ream eyso who was a greedy god that want her crystal but at the end he lost to her magical crystal that can control lightning. Also the lakhon khol or masked dance that has been included in culture heritage of unesco where you see a group of dancers wear mask was take from a scene of Ramayana the scene where the the bad side Mahiravana and good side Hanuman in a battle fighting for Neang Sita. And architecture that gave you greek vibe are Khmer architecture such as Preah Vihear temple and Angkor. Most of her outfit and hair style are inspired from ancient Khmer.
The costomes were the real costomes that built following our an ancestors written on the wall of hundred temples in Cambodia (mostly Angkor Wat area) and it took years to make it.
She spends her own money to made this. It's about 150.000$-she sold her car for this. This song is mention about our first kingdom called Kok Thlok. She is a daughter of Naga king( legend said) and the first queen of all time called Sorma or Liv Yee. The script in this MV is a magic spell to curse the enemy and bring peace to the kingdom. Its a 7 head naga. The naga is presented as a source of Cambodia motherland (God mother). The introduction of spoken words are about the history of the battle within Ravana and Hanuman. The meanings of the song is about empowerment of Women and woman’s rights.

That’s the Naga or dragon. We believe that we were born from the Naga/dragon. And we respect to Monther-Naga/dragon. Our kingdom in 1st century was leaded by the queen. That time queen took power. Our kingdom was mother-based, woman leaded the government, woman controlled the government, woman was the head of family. Naga/dragon represents our mother. And we can see mostly that she wear the dragon crown. And finally her and the eight heads naga/dragon. That’s really really traditionally.

I love this my. The beginning the is telling the story. It’s something about the war between hunaman ( monkey king ) and the devil. It’s kind a the story between Zeus the Titan or like the Greek story. Sorry it’s a bit difficult to translate. The second version it’s mostly about women power. She represents the Khmer women power.
