I was still a cop in the 90’s… we chased everyone. Turn the lights on a block away from the suspect and they’ll make a run for it.
Act I and Act II with the narration is from 70’s cop shows like The Streets Of San Francisco.
We had cell phones in the 90’s… they were in a bag the size of a shoe box, so they were a little less portable.
That's pretty awesome, the books we were taught by were written by your generation and we definitely benefitted from y'alls experience on the street!
Also what did you guys think about the 80’s era crown Vic the cops drive in the show
Something I never knew, and this is a bit off topic, but still law enforcement related. I didn't know you needed to be Surtified to PIT, I thought it was one of those maneuvers that used self discretion, and as long as it was safe and you were confident enough to perform the maneuver any cop could perform a PIT.
It was against our city policy to even do it and we weren't trained to do it because it wasn't approved. I would say most cities ban the use of it unfortunately.
Oh if you like the uuhh, just wait till you get into gta5 police vehicles.
"Attention any available units, there is a person with a knife in uuuuhhhhh east Vinewood hills"
Could always check out Kamen Rider Kuuga, it has a lot of focus on the Japanese police. You could stream it for free(and legally) on Pluto TV.
Still waiting for the end of watch
It's coming! We filmed like 12 scene breakdowns, so the editing is taking some time, but definitely this month we've got End of Watch.

At 1:07-1:09 is a reference to Rambo: First Blood in case no one gotten the reference.
Also at 2:45-2:47 This episode DID came out in the 90's, I should as I grew up in the 90's and remembers when the Simpsons were a HUGE hit as they had a lot of cool merchandise from video games, toy dolls, t-shirts etc.
