- It’s been 17 years since Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker embraced the dark side as Darth Vader, and now he’s back facing off with Ewan McGregor’s jedi knight Obi-Wan! In a new interview with ‘Extra’s’ Jenn Lahmers, Hayden dishes on stepping back into character for the new ‘Obi-Wan Kenobe’ series, plus the possibility of Vader getting his own spin-off! ‘Obi-Wan Kenobe’ is streaming now on Disney+.

And we need a _Vader_ series, not a smorgasbord of 5 different main characters storylines that no one cares about like they've done with the Kenobi series.
They need to give him his own show. Don't know why that would be so difficult for Disney to understand... Vader has literally saved the franchise throughout the years, and yet is shown for only a few minutes...

Monsters are only scary when you're not used to them. Overexposure nerfs every character.
I think the fact that he appears only when needed is what make his appearances more enjoyable.
Having a series focused entirely on him gives them a very high chance to mess his character forever. They should just keep making media were vader is present but not necessarily over use him.
@@jaztin7960 The Darth Vader comic books and cartoon shows/games proves that it can work. Just need a great script and a great vision for it. There are plenty of villains that have appeared for 1 hour in a movie or more. Thanos and Joker comes to mind in recent times.

I have always loved Hayden - ever since I called dibs on him when my sister and I watched him in that crappy show Higher Ground in 2000 hahahaha. He’s so humble and such a Star Wars fanboy that I’m happy to see him finally get some recognition.

It was a really cheesy ass show, but you can even see then why Hayden became a big deal after because he really stood out. He was definitely the only highlight of that series, like his characters struggle too was pretty interesting concept to be honest
Give this man a spin-off series, he deserves to have one.
But it needs to be a 15-20 episode series, to make the series long and awesome to satisfy the fans even more....
This series seriously underused him. His scenes were always the best ones. Give him a Vader series. And have his force ghost all over the Ashoka series along with flashbacks with young Ashoka

We've gotten vader comics from Disney already and there definitely some of the best star wars content they've made yet. I don't think Disney can get vader wrong.
Event though the show is soooo mediocre, Hayden Christensen is an absolute gem.

When asked if Vader would have a spin-off, Hayden said 4:27 he didn't know, but he stumbled on his words and readjusted his seating which tells a lot from his body language.... I'd say he definitely knows something. How much does he know? We'll have to wait.

A rise to power is NEEDED for Vader, he have is pre vader, and we have post vader, but there is SO much content in the time between the end of rots and a new hope, and it would be so great to see Hayden really complete the role.

Give us a Vader series. Set up like Godfather Part 2. With the present being Vader hunting down Jedi and visiting Padme’s grave. And then have Clone Wars flashbacks with Hayden, Ewan, and a young Ashoka actress.

If they do a series, they must do a parallel story or stories of him during the Clone Wars and as Vader. I'm not talking about just for flashbacks or dreams. Mando works well because it's also his voice, Vader doesn't have Hayden's voice so having him only for physical acting is a waste.
That was Hayden's voice spliced in Episode III, and yeah, watch the series finale...it's all him!

I understand that we do need multiple people to play Vader, stunts and stuff like that but would it be so hard just to add like what is it 7 inches to Hayden‘s height I mean it doesn’t have to be the full seven and they could give him some sort of shoe they gives an inch or two and just CGI the rest. Correct me if I’m wrong, i’m no expert.

Really bad the stunts has to reveal they were Vader on the suit, kill the magic, Even Hayden believe he was Vader until Demtrio and Tom go everywhere telling hey i am Vader, not my Vader dear, the only Vader is Hayden with suit or not
Yeah I don’t know why they did that. David Prowse also had stuntmen who did the fighting but we didn’t know.
Either give us an anti-hero Vader or a Jason Vorhees style Vader where everybody dies in the end... Let's go!!!

Anytime he is sitting down or lying on the ground or in closeup shots it’s Hayden. The Vader fighting scenes and moving scenes that are filmed from mid-to-long shots are the two other guys.

Pretty sure Haden doesn't actually wear the vader suit. There are two different stunt doubles who wear it. Haden is just there for the flashbacks.
He has confirmed he does wear the suit. The full body shots are obviously not him, because he isn’t tall enough for Hayden’s physique.

He does, probably in the close ups and/or when he's alone. You also can identify his walk pattern at times

I love the fact it took three terrible sequels to finally see these guys getting love.
Those sequels, albeit fantastic and the box offcie numbers prove that, had nothing to do with these two or this show...it was planned as soon as Disney bought the franchise or TFA came out
