El Capitan Could not be installed, No Packages were eligible. QUICK AND EASY FIX. Date modification

  • If you try to do a fresh El Capitan and it wont work this is the solution!
    When the message OS X Could not be installed, No Packages were eligible show up you need to change the date in terminal before the installation!
    You go in Terminal and change it for any date before 2014, I like to use 2013 !
    You can enter this in terminal :
    Date 1010110113
    Then press enter, after the date as been modified you can just close the terminal app and go on with the installation!

    Hi how to download the Mac OS el capitan , everthing i downloaded McOs package cant read the usb bootable . how to download the correct dmg file?

      I have the same issue. It will only download through the internet

    how do you skip wifi verification it says i can’t download if not connected to wifi but with the wifi the date corrects itself automatically

      Press "option" key then click on wifi, after that disconnect from your connected wifi then turn off the wifi. Then change the date and restart...it will work
