Even though this video is several years old, I just want to say thank you for posting it. I am a Cricut person, making tee shirts, stickers, hats,etc. I just started making cards with dieâs and stamps, and now Iâm attempting scrapbooking because I have a brand new granddaughter. I am making a baby book for mom and dad for Christmas. This video gave me some great ideas for layouts. I did a little scrapbooking back in the 90âs with Creative Memories, but never kept it up. Thank again and Iâm sure Iâll be binging your channel!

Iâm trying to do a double page spread nowâŠwas trying to be tricky and obsess over coordinated papers - after watching I see itâs just fine to use the same paper on both pages and not drive myself crazy. There are other things to obsess over lol.
Very true! I am glad this helped you. Iâll admit I do obsess over trivial thinggs on my layouts and do spend quite a bit of time choosing photos and the papers I want to use, not not worrying about being matchy matchy all the time at least alleviates some of the obsessing. đđđ

Loved your layout shared. Can you tell me the size of your pictures on your happy baby page? I have so many pictures of my grand kids like that. Your layout is the perfect solution to getting them out of my phone and onto a page.
I am so glad you liked it! It was super easy to do that size because itâs exactly 1/4 of a 4x6 - so itâs 2x4. I collaged them in the PicFrame app before I printed. Hereâs a video I did showing how: czcams.com/video/v2IAFAytt1k/video.html

I donât! Sorry! Only because I made it at a friendâs house. I put tape on the back of the film strip first then held it over each photo to line up then pressed down to adhere.

I need advice on what scrapbook to use for pages like this please and thank you. I'm new to the scrapbook life.
Hi Anndria! Welcome to the wonderful world of scrapbooking! There are basically 2 types of 12x12 scrapbooks. D-ring, and post-bound. The D-ring is what I use because of the ease of getting pages in and out. It opens just as you remember from school đ but bigger and better quality. Post-bound (or some companies do a strap-bound) is where there are posts or straps that hold the pages in the album. It leaves less of a gap between your pages so they truly look like one layout, but the trade-off is that they are harder to get pages in and out. Some people use a D-ring as a work-in-progress album and then add them to a permanent post-bound album. I work so randomly out of order that that doesnât work for me and the D-ring works better. So it just depends what you want! As far as which album specifically, you definitely want a high quality album bc this is going to last a long time. I personally donât like the quality of most albums at big box stores. There are some brands that are nice, though. I use CTMHâs albums and I also use their page protectors because the plastic is really high quality. Itâs not as thin and flimsy as some protectors I used to use. I actually switched out all the page protectors and albums from my really old albums from before I found CTMH. Iâd be happy to send you a flip flap as a sample. Then you can try out the flip flap AND itâs the same plastic as the 12â page protectors so you can see the quality.

Good idea!! I see that title a lot but have never done it myself til now! The small photos are 1.5x3 - I used the PicCollage app to collage 4 photos on a portrait orientation 4x6 , then saved and had developed with all my other 4x6 photos! I do that for 3x4 size too! Super easy and makes the prints even cheaper. I hope you venture into scrapping someday. Judging by how amazing your cards are, youâd do amazing work. It is a whole different beast though.

I get them printed when I have time, but sometimes print at home. I use Walmart 1-hr if I donât have much time or Persnickety if I plan ahead đ
