@@gregorymalchuk272 in this case the hose is going into the back of the carb, so it will easily suck that fluid and yes the smell will be a little off compared to burning oil smell. Combusting trans fluid will depend on the route of the vacuum pressure Wich I'm not sure where it would end up if such rupture occurs. You just have to pull hoses apart and check for fluids.
Yes! I second this. Saw a restoration video where the engine was sucking in brake fluid through the booster hose. The exhaust was smoking but it wasnt oil or running rich

That’s an Olds Mobile Auto Mobile. They don’t make them like that anymore. In fact, they don’t make them at all anymore. My dad bought a new Olds Mobile Auto Mobile in 1953. I have a photo of it. Back then it seems my dad got a different car every 2 years or so. Not necessarily new, just different. My dad’s Olds Mobile didn’t become a POS like the one in this video. Or at least it wasn’t a piece of shit while my dad owned it. In his youth my dad had nice things. As he got older his cars were nasty and held together with aluminum tape, bungee cords, and contact cement. Sometimes pop rivets were involved. And sometimes epoxy glue. And maybe some cargo pit tape, which is a high grade of tape used in the baggage holds of jetliners. My dad used to bring home all sorts of materials from USAir, where he worked. But it was OK. The company bought extra of everything so employees could take home all they wanted. When my dad was alive we always had a huge supply of batteries, spray paint, and LPS lubricant (similar to WD40). And masking tape. And vomit bags, without the vomit. We saved so much money not having to buy all this stuff. My dad also brought home meals that catering would have dumped in the trash. If there are 12 box lunches in a case, and they open a case to get just one meal, the other 11 meals must go in the trash. Peanuts. So many peanuts. And sandwiches. And cookies. And napkins. And other stuff that I can’t recall.

The smoke is probably brake fluid entering the engine through the booster hose due to a faulty leaking brake master cylinder seal.
