Mercedes Benz W210 E320 Review | Start Up, POV, Test Drive - LIFE OF BRI

This is my review of the 2000 Mercedes-Benz E320 W210. This car is one of those polarizing vehicles in terms of styling and looks, however one thing that is undeniable is the excellence of it's V6.
The Mercedes-Benz M112 engine produced 221 hp (164 kW) and 229 ft·lbf (310 N·m) of torque and offered a 0-60 mph (98 km/h) of 6.9 seconds.
Some of you may know me as a Mercedes enthusiast and I have owned and experienced many different Mercedes-Benz E-classes from the W124, W211, W212, W213 families and this W210 sits right between the more classical W124 chassis and the more modern vehicles offered by Mercedes-Benz.
I'm glad to have had the chance to have this car as a daily driver for about a year and a half and was able to draw my own conclusions to this specific generation.

I have a 1999 4matic I purchased new in 1999 now only 94,000 miles on it after 25 years of safety & deendability. Perfect match between weight, engine,gear ratio & transmission. A hot little passenger car on a sports car frame. A real “classic.”

The aesthetics of the lights are awesome, a fresh take on a classic look. And the way the lines of the hood follow the lights, aesthetic perfection in my opinion

That sliding won't happen as bad when you activate ASR. I loved it.

I have this baby too🎉, 1997 E320 Merc W210. It has 106-000km on it. It drives like a dream. A warning though, needs regular gearbox and oil change service, then this baby can run for years with minimum issues 😅

My neighbor has this exact color e320 just sitting across the street not been driven in about 4 years now. They move it around because they have other cars and it was in the driveway and now it’s on the street. I’m going to see if they would sell it to me. I really want a car and hopefully that would be my first car.

I always wonder what kind of electrical problem he had on his v6 w210 that is expensive to fix. I bought my e55 4 years ago and only spend 1200cad on fixing stuff. Maybe another guy want to own an old mercedes but can't fix stuff by themself.

Very reliable.

Very, they've got some small electrical niggles and the AC diverter valve can go bad but that's a super easy and cheap thing to fix, they can also rust in the strut tops.
Other than that they're bulletproof.

We bought one new in Mar. 1999. Still handles great and has good kick at 80 mph. We get over 25 mpg on highway. 68,500 miles since new. Never had a tune up. Still original plugs. Handles & corners like a little sports car. On start up the little 6 roars to life like it wants to be driven. I still love it after over 20 years.
