It's difficult to get the exact lyrics of gd because most of his korean slang word is difficult to get in English translation.....he is genius in wordplay
while other Korean rappers try to reach more people using more generic rhymes, he is of a very traditional style. a truly King

That's exactly the problem, they play with words and meanings on every line, there are special lyrics with explanation to really get the messages
Everything GD does, he puts a lot of symbolism. He really likes symbols, playing with words, korean expressions and history, so to outsiders it's really difficult to translate him. Hope GD never change that. Hope he never chew his art for people because that's what makes it special.

You need to react to Big Bang’s earlier songs too. ‘Fantastic Baby’ and ‘BANG BANG BANG’ are two of my favourites. Big Bang are literally know as the legends/Kings/Gods of Kpop. They started many of the kpop trends such as dying their hair brighter colours. They were also one of the first groups to stay as group while they do solo stuff as well. (Most groups would disband to do solo stuff)

You really should check out Epik High. Especially the MV for “Born Hater”, which also has Bobby (among other guest rappers) in it. If you love straight up rap, amazing word play, nasty beats - they are one of the best! Make sure to watch the lyric video of it though - has the music video to one side and the English lyrics to the other. The official YG video has no captions.

The kinda OG's that legendary and started all of these trends in the KPOP industry. Like it or not, they started too much trend on KPOP. Thanks for the reaction! Before I discovered BTS last year, I was huge fan of BIGBANG and went to their concert in Japan couple of times, but after I watched this reaction I realized I never really paid attention to their lyrics, so thanks to you now I know better 😂
Their stage presence was insane..although I was so disappointed bcs of what happened in 2016, and that happened right after I went to their last fanmeeting before TOP's military enlistment, so I felt really stupid shedding my tears for them back then and quit following them.
But it feels quite good to listen to their music again in this reaction video, I remember how amazing they were performing right in front of me.
