This bow build outputs insane dmg with the moonstone gem and almost no cooldown for rapid shot spam. This build is easy to use and you can do low con with it because you will be out of the way of most attacks. Let me know what you think down in the comments below!

Yeah of course! I would put the rest of your points in strength after hitting 350 dex for more dmg for your spear.
So since rapid shot isnt on cooldown until you use it moonstone only applies to second and third shot?

If I want to strictly build for pve then out of syncretic,boltcaster and this azoth crystal bow which would be better? . I want to run a high dps build with bow and I like your build, just wondering about bow options.
I would go with this azoth bow because enchanted doesn’t matter since ur spamming rapid shot and u want that penetrating rapid shot perk which will be easy to obtain on the azoth bow with either a few roles from the gypsum kiln or manually putting it on through there. Then I’d pair this with either the spear or rapier. Finisher rapier is pretty good with this.

It is one of the pieces from glacial tarn. You should be able to get it in regular.
hey man, i see you put in points in other things than dex, i was under the impression not all of them do work with bow atleast that what i have heard. i do like the build, am gs/bow user and am running heavy coz i prefer the greatsword over the bow, but this is making me re-think my build, is the rapier a must? will it make huge difference when i use the greatsword instead? and is enchanted ward better than elemental aversion? also watched ur video about the greatsword thats why the all the questions :D and is light armor that much better than heavy?
So I would disregard my attributes because it’s what I have when I swap from my melee set for the boss fight. Greatsword/bow isn’t a good option for expeditions. I would use greatsword/great axe or great axe/spear or spear/greatsword for trash mobs. Then for boss fights if you need a range option the bow pairs well with finisher or lifetaker for the extra dmg. You should be in light armor always as a dps. Heavy is only for tanking. Enchanted Ward is what I would recommend running.

Yeah I recommend the soul pollen ring. You can get it through the kiln I believe.

Not everything is weak to lighting, but if you are strictly using it for pve then it could be a decent option. You definitely want to have pen rapid shot as a perk.

I would just craft an azoth crystal bow at the kiln and then reroll it.
nah bro you dont even use heavy´s .... light 0,5 seks for 4/5k heavys 8/9k with crouch 0,8 seks
It’s just faster to throw a couple light attacks in between.
What? Lights do not take 0.5s they take around 1.0s, while heavies take around 2.0s
Example: from Light attack to light attack 4:37 - 4:38 or bring up stats for nerds it's 277.69s -> 278.79s (I know it's 1.1s but human error is a factor)
and I know Heavy -> Heavy takes 2s almost exactly. Actually at 120fps it's 1s and frame 118. It's better to spam Light Attacks than Heavy. Also with the CD reduction at below 50% health it's just better than heavy.
I do see you mentioned crouched though, I'll look into that when I get home and edit my comment on the findings. I'll see if Crouch Heavy or Light is any faster...
Sorry on a new account, I just wanted to follow up.
I've been consistently getting 1.87s (did my recordings on 30fps this time) with the use of macros to remove as much human error as possible from my heavy/light attacks. While with my Lights I was getting 1.13s (so not sure how you got a 1.1s but maybe it's some 30fps shenanigans). I even got the same results crouching. So crouching does absolutely nothing. But saying 0,5s or 0,8s is very far off. Plus the benefit of 5% CD reduction from light attacks really just makes it a better choice without having the need to commit to a heavy.
