Yes it has to be oem cause aftermarket internals are not the same so it wouldn’t work

its just those OEM mirrors are expensive

Not sure if it would work but you can try but you do run the risk of unfixable mirror

I can try I need to first locate the source of power I wasn’t successful yet in finding it I’m still trying to figure it all out

If you get the power folding kit all you need is the signal light, upper and lower mirror cover with the signal light cut out ?

Yes and you also need the plug to make the harness for the light
