- After I came out publicly as bisexual (and married), I had so many people reach out to me saying they'd gone through, or were going through, a similar journey discovering new aspects of their sexuality. THANK YOU for your comments and messages.

I relate to your story SO much! I am. JUST discovering I am bi. I am in a long term relationship with a cis-hetero man also who I plan to marry. I don't feel the need to actually go out and explore either, I'm the same just wanting to be able to self identify for the sake of my own feelings and sanity. You in particular made me feel so much less alone! Many people say to explore with women and that is just not an option for me. I'm also not a big porn person either so even that I related to also!
Your advice about therapy is good to hear. I have been wanting to try therapy for some time now. I'm still a little nervous about it and definitely couldn't afford anything expensive... But maybe I will try finding a therapist soon...
I am not fully out yet, either. Only my sister, best friend, and boyfriend have known for about a week.
Thank you so much for sharing and for letting me know that you could relate to my story! It means so much to me that I can help you feel less alone, because like I said, others did that for me. I think it's so important to be able to embrace your identity and live truthfully for you. People think it's all about sex, but so much of it is about just allowing yourself to be seen (even seen by yourself)!
Therapy really was an important step for me. It helped me get some perspective from someone who wasn't as invested in my life choices, if that makes sense. I wish you all the best with your journey and appreciate you commenting here! You are definitely not alone, and I am so happy for you that you've been able to start embracing this part of yourself.

growing up i had no resources i spent to long running away from my attraction to men and because i had never knew about any thing other than straight or gay i assumed i was gay.
so now i was ignoring my attraction to women i found my home when i found about Bisexuality, this i why visibility is important
edited for context it was only three years before i was born that homosexuality was decriminalised
beautiful. yes. thank you so much for sharing - I love what you said about finding your home!
@@jennicahillthanks for what you are doing

I’m so happy you’ve begun to find and accept yourself. Sometimes it takes time, right? And better now than never. Thank you for sharing and I’m so glad you’re here!! 💜
Thanks for what you do women are bisexual most men who say they are bisexual are gay I am glad I accepted myself as gay.
r/bisexual is a great place
It sure is! Thanks for adding that.
You will learn to accept yourself as bisexual as I did there are dating services out there that are fun.
So glad I came across your channel 🙌 ☺
I’m glad too!!! Thank you 🥰
There are a couple of awesome bi characters on the musical comedy Crazy Ex Girlfriend (you can find it on Netflix), complete with a fantastic Bi Anthem. It was nice to see a character finding that facet of themselves later in life. You can find the song on CZcams, search Gettin' Bi. :) I know when the show first came out the title was off putting but it is actually a really feminist show created by women.
That’s really cool! I know a good amount about the show and am very impressed by Rachel Bloom but haven’t really been a viewer. (Musicals aren’t my thing.) but I’ll have to check it out! Thank you!
Thank you. I need this!! Baby bi here!
Anytime!!! Sending you love and congratulations! I still consider myself a baby bi lol.
OMG Can't stop watching you, so many alike experiences and feelings and I also love L-word but I was watching first seasons when discovering my sexuality. Buffff years ago it was, but this emotions are still intense. I have found myself at the end of college.
Hi! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing. So intense those feelings. Here for it and supporting you from afar.
Hiya congratulations well done 💕
Thank you
@@jennicahill both my and i come from church upbringing's as well which makes things more interesting..
@@balticstain7150 yeah I'm sure that's extra difficult
I love my bf and I don’t want to lose him but I’m questioning my sexuality and it sucks. Do I like men? Have my crushes on them been real? Idk what to do :(
It’s so hard. All I can say is keep listening to yourself and finding out what’s inside you before you worry about bringing it to your relationship. I know it might feel like a secret but it’s just you figuring out what you want and need. I know it can be scary, but in time you will figure it out. Sometimes the truth is hard but it’s better than living a lie. Maybe you don’t have to lose your boyfriend! I wish you the best of luck on this journey. Feel free to keep reaching out. I know how intense it feels. 💜💜
I‘ve been struggling with the same issue!!
@@Jess-yc2uz how have you been dealing with it so far?
@@jennicahill I told my boyfriend that I'm bisexual, first of all. He's totally open to it and I have repressed it for some years. I'm still kinda dealing with it, but I'm trying to tell him as much as possible, which is challenging bcs I have GAD and suffer from trauma involving men, I'm just scared, haha. I'm just trying to open myself up as much as I can and explore myself, within his boundaries. Which are not yet set.. Btw. I found your channel like today and am proud to be here before you blow up, haha
@@Jess-yc2uz congratulations on telling your boyfriend!!! Yeah - it sure does take time to process it all. I’m so happy for you though and can’t wait to be here to support you on your journey. Thank you for saying you think I’ll blow up! Lol. Honestly just helping people going through what I have is my measure of success with this channel!!! 🌟💜
r/bisexual has helped me a lot
🙌🏼💗💜💙
Did you get the dancing from Elaine on Seinfeld.
@@Michael-mr9kn haha no but that’s the best compliment ever
