    Hi, does your dpf cleaning treatment cleans the Ash build up as well?

    It would not surprising me if that car has had the mileage rolled back.

    are there any warning signs when dpf is due to be checked or issues could start? or does the car warn you? or do you have to know the signs?

    Took off the dpf to clean it, and saw that one element is pushed out ~2cm I think the glue was damaged... I guess is not functioning ok like this....did anyone else experience this issue?

    Will the dpf cleaner work with a rev even when cad wont regenerate? Mine wont regenerate even with vcds as soot level slightly too high. Thanks

    Great video, just a question you put DPF cleaner in the DPF and start the car is that's it? Thanks

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes to flush it but if warning lights are illuminated you need to do adaptions via diagnostic and maybe regeneration

    Might have been overfilled with oil at a time? Apparently that's a quick way to kill a DPF. Never understood why these cars don't come with a manual dipstick from the factory, leaves you relying on a dodgey sensor in the sump

      @rosen9425 Před 2 lety

      Can't be cost savings, such a sensor must be as expensive as it is unnecessary. I can accept it as a compliment to a dipstick, doing quick checks. Overengineering ftw by the germans as always

      I have a TDCI that had a faulty injector so it kept misfiring on 1 cylinder, massively overfueling, which will also clog a DPF within several miles.

    Such a waste of a good car, worst case scenario even putting a good second hand engine into it wouldn’t be a huge job and would get it motoring again! Great video, just subscribed.

    I have a audi 2017 2.0 TDI and the problem is that the engine yellow light comes in dash after a certain mileage i went to the mechanic and put the tester on and say Particulate Trap Bank 1 effieciency below treshold.
    He tried to do a dpf cleaning by computer but he doesnt let him.
    Attention: the dpf icon in dashboard doesnt appear not even 1 time so i can see is the DPF.
    Can you belp me with advice what can i do and what is the problem? Many thanks 🤝🏼

    Wow what a mess for such low milage car. I have a question regarding a car been stood for 3/4 years. Would you recommend syphoning the diesel. Or should it be ok to run that after so long?

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  Před 2 lety +2

      Diesel fuel supposedly goes bad after 12 months but I've seen cars parked for years run fine.
      This vehicle was already worked on here at the garage so I was just here to unblock the DPF and get it started

      @@ORileysAutos thanks for the quick reply. It was regarding a car that I’m picking up from my uncles that’s been stationary for nearly 4 years. A 2011 Mercedes ML300 cdi

      @@paulkemp8784 I've seen cars just been started after that time with no issues but if you don't want to risk it you would need to change fuel filter and oil. Open injectors and crank engine to get fuel out. Drain tank. Remove glow plugs and spray some oil into cylinders.
