UV Reactive Stretch Decor DIY

Had a lot of fun making these! Try to spray them outside or in an open garage if possible, I only used indoors because I did not have anywhere to push the tacks into outside. At first it looks like Swiss cheese. Once you stretch it, it’s totally retro and so cool to see. The colors are amazing! What a fun idea.

How much did you spend in total on the project? And its 4 way stretch Spandex? Looks awesome! Would like to do it for outdoor party decor on a budget

About $100 for the fabric(4 way stretch), and then about $60 on the spray paint(they were about $3 each at Walmart). It might be hard to hang them outdoors without walls to push all the tacs into though! You could try metal rings with rope or something instead maybe!

Ia this double sided? What if its not on a wall but being seen from both sides? Can you paint the other side without it getting too thick and not reflecting??

I only painted one side, the spray paint sometimes bleeds over to the other side, so if you are going to paint both sides, just make sure you use the same colors in the same spots 👍

Thank you! Thumb tacs or nails are best, you want to be able to stretch out the multiple tips all around it to create the shapes you want 👍
