That new tangle teezer is the truth!!! I got mine at Ulta a month or so ago and haven't looked back! Now I feel like all of my other brushes ripped my hair out. It's so gentle but works the best!!!!

It’s so so good. I got mine at target, I was using that Amazon detangling brush with the super flexible teeth and thought it was pulling my hair out but after switching im like oh nah that was DEFInitely pulling out my hair lol

So my favorite twist out was the one from 4 years ago when you used the jane carter curls to go products but is probably because of the shape of your hair lol either way all of them are bomb!
The style came out wonderfully per usual. After watching this, I realize the first flat twist tutorial I watched and use wasn’t yours! The one I watched did not split the hair into three sections. I ended up having to modify my technique to split into three sections because the style just didn’t look right, and thanks to you for validating that modification (you’re the pro). Now, what I still don’t do, is add gel (or mousse) to my hair before twisting. I use a cream (like the Shea moisture) and oil. I did try once adding a gel for a twist out but my hair ended up being dryer and losing definition quickly (the gel was not good quality like Eco styler). However, I feel that even though omitting the gel helped, I could probably get more longevity if I used a proper gel. Do you recommend this as a must for twist outs? I do use eco styler for my wash n goes, and they last almost a whole week vs my twist outs which go 4-5 days. Thanks!

Pineapple method is the most popular one using a silk/satin scarf. If it's not working well for you, you could opt for banding method or big twists at nights that you cover up with some bonnet. Hope it helps

I reverted back to this technique 2 weeks ago, and the definition lasted about 10 days. I think I'm in love again!

You will need to retwist somehow if you want to keep the definition whether it's big single strand twists or flat twist 😉
